We have met and continue to meet lots of players every year we do not draft. No arrogance just facts.

Of course we don't draft them all. After all, there are 31 teams that can choose to draft these players as well. The point is that the Cowboys are showing interest. They wasted one of their meetings on Zeke AFTER they signed Morris. I don't know how high they are going to prioritize running back this year, nobody does...but the only facts we can come up with is that they at least have mild interest in Zeke/Henry at the right spot.

Murray made plenty of guys miss. You don't get 1800 by not making guys miss. Henry is overrated as hell

Not the point.

Murray was a one cut runner, he used power and a stiff arm to create. He didn't make it a habit of making people miss. I watched every carry on 2014 and most of the time he chose to look for contact instead of hiking a defender. He is a one cut, down hill runner. When you ask him to do more, you get the Philly version.

Been pimping Henry on here the past couple of months as much as Catch17 has been pimping Wentz!

I want him bad. People talk about wiggle, etc, but he never gets caught when he's in the open field. The dude is a truck with speed. He's the type of back where you feel like he's done nothing and you look up in the 3rd quarter and he's got 125 already.

Exactly. Henry has enough wiggle

In this offense, he would really shine

Henry or Perkins would look good wearing the star. But in the rounds that these guys are going 2-4 DT , DE, CB, Safety, and ahem TE are bigger needs..

Henry is perfect for this Offensive line. Others will do well also but he'll get you those
extra inches and feet that move the chains and keep the defense off the field.

I like Henry but he strikes me as a back that you'll get a few good years out of and then see diminished performances later. By year three his style is going to catch up to him.

I like Henry. But with the roster we have do we really have the luxury of using pick 34 on a position that will never get a second contract. That's what I look at. We have lots of needs and 34 is a very premium pick that could fill one of those needs for a decade. I really want to add a young RB but just don't think 34 is going to be the spot we do it. Pick 34 is too valuable to use on a guy you know day one is gone after first contract

I don't know. Sometimes I feel down on him, like today, but then I watch videos and he's like a runaway train once he gets going.

Wouldn't hate the pick. He's enormous - which has to mean something in pass protection, too (which nobody seems to talk about).

He's like Brandon Jacobs ( Giants). He'll bring a load with him. I'd take him in the 2nd-3rd rd. He won't last till the third, but it would be a steeeeeeal

I'm going to bet (figure of speech, not being literal as I hate betting) that he has a Jason Witten-type fall into the third round.

I'd give him more than just two years, and I'd take him for four, if the lack-of-wiggle isn't an issue.
I've been critical of Henry's running style because I think the defensive linemen are quicker than what he's seen in college, and I think we'll see him get stopped in the backfield a bit.
But ... with the offensive line we have, I think Henry - who won't fit every team's offense - could thrive in our one-cut rushing scheme.

You cannot underscore the production he has and setting all those records in big games.
Also he is true team guy without any character issues, we need guys like him. Gregory is a wasted 2nd round pick and I don't think he will get his life together. The next 1 year suspension will probably kick him out of NFL for good.

We will go

Round 1: DL
Round 2: Henry or RB
Round 3: QB

Just my $.02
