James is the player I want and it is not even close. I haven't felt this strongly about a player since Jalen Ramsey.(I still believe he should have been the pick)

I could get a little excited about Vea. I think he would make an impact.
Or
One of the top LB's Smith or Edmunds

But Derwin James is the no-brainer, high character, impact player we need.

I hate trading up in a draft but I would do it for him. I have tried to get creative in some other threads in figuring out a way to position ourselves for James but if It comes down to it I would trade the 2nd rd pick to get James. The question is, will that be enough? I hope we try to find out.

I agree with every single point you made. He’ll be a superstar and I hope we do what it takes to go get him.

Depends if he falls oitdide if the top 10. Than the question how much do u pay. I would go as far as a third!!!!! But that is it. Fallin in love with players is not something evaluators can do

GREEN BAY NEEDS SECONDAY HELP. BUT THEY MIGHT GO CB

I totally agree on James (disagree on Ramsey) but I think James could be the best D player in this draft, maybe player in general

He would be an absolute STAR in Dallas, for years to come. His jersey number should be 28 it would be the top selling rookie Jersey of the Year! Our Secondary would be above average tinkering on Elite. We would win many games & many playoff games, He would be an absolute Star!

I agree. And because I’d really like to keep him out of Washington

This is where FA is your friend, because if you can buy talent occasionally, it keeps you from having to treat draft picks like unobtanium

I bet he's caught a ration of $*** back in his day having to grow up with that first name of his,I mean it's seems like a name that hot chicks really wouldn't dig on & older kids would poke fun at.

I like James and think he will be solid. But I rather keep my 2nd and get 3 solid players in the first 3 Rounds.

I think someone will go surprising early. I still think if we can’t get James. Getting Payne, Hernandez or Wynn or Vea would still be solid.

Either do what it takes to get James or get at 19 Hernandez....those are the two I really want. If neither of them are there and maybe we can trade back into the mid to late 20s then that'd be great. If can't do any of these three I'd look for a speed rushing RDE or maybe a LB like LVE.

Personally i would just pick something up in FA, I wouldnt have a offensive line with a bunch of first rounders while the rest of the team sucks

At some point obviously there’s diminishing returns, but the line is the lifeblood of the team and gets the absolute most out of Dak and zeke, so even though it’s not my personal pick I wouldn’t be upset provided we don’t pass over a similarly graded player at a bigger position of need.

The rest of the team doesn’t suck though. Obviously we’ve got solid skill players (who become great skill players provided the line is top notch)

And on D we’ve got Sean Lee, David Irving, D-Law, Chido and Lewis who I’m big fans of.

We also have Jaylon, Woods, Taco and Collins who I believe should all be significantly better next year.

Then there are the talented wildcards of Byron, Heath and Tapper. The cupboards not remotely bare, so I don’t think additional OL investment is as foolish as it may appear

Thank you for starting the thread off with Ramsay should have been the pick so I didn't have to bother reading the rest.
