Doubt Seattle passes on him if he's there. ET doesn't want to be there anymore. If they get james they could let ET go maybe for a fourth to dallas? I'd rather have them jump and get James if that's the case. Should be interesting 1st round.

Seattle will pass on him and draft best available olineman. They are decimated at that position...more so than cb. Seattle might take Mike McClinchey.

I don't think he falls as he is the only safety qualified as a 1st rounder. I do worry about him considering he missed 2016.

Lots of players the board, and a lot of draftniks, have going sooner will fall however. It always happens. I can hear it now in the chat room on draft weekend...."no way so and so is falling.....are these teams crazy?!? Dude is a stud!" That sort of thing.

With Philly on the upward swing and a possibility of Dez going to NYG, I would definitely draft for defense with our first pick. It's not to say I would be mad if we go WR but as many have pointed out, this year's crop of WR are very close in ranking and I would be glad if one of the top 5 WRs make it to our second pick. In addition, rookie WRs rarely light it up and without a can't miss WR prospect in the first round, building defense just makes the most sense. Especially when you consider on top of that, any WR will play second or third fiddle to Zeke and Witten.

The two players that come to mind are Vita Vea and Derwin James. I have seen Derwin in some mocks go right before our pick and Vita Vea dropping to our pick. Now, I believe the likely hood that will happen is very slim but if any of those two get close (14), I am calling for trades. Those two unlike the WR crop are considered game changers in their respective positions. Just another week! and we will see!

Appears many of the real scouts believe James could easily fall to 19 or 20 while we fans do not see him getting out of the top 10. If so, you have to wonder what they expect in those top 18 picks.

Seems like at least 4 and highly possible 6 QBs will go before Dallas picks which helps.

Would be hard to see Dallas pass on James if he is there at 19. Would definite take him.

5 QB s could easily go before us.
Add Nelson, Berkley, Chubb, Ward, Fitzpatrick, and a few others and your already dipping into the teens.

You never know.

If he gets to 15 or so, we need to try...imo

and i like Derwin but Minkah is easily better

Im not talking about how I feel.

Im saying from what I've from people who have a good track record of being connected that Derwin will be drafted before Minkah and Minkah likely drops to around pick 15.

It would be a waste to play him deep.

He looks like one of the best modern era Strong Safety types I've seen.

As a FS he is much closer to average.
