Being told that Eagles WR DeSean Jackson's back injury is not thought to be serious and "he'll be fine."

...........

Good news. He is a good kid and a great player.

Good to see most of these early 'cart' episodes are premature.....but, blame it on the O'Mallies!;)

I'm afraid I can't echo that sentiment. I want my completely healthy team to beat their completely healthy team. I won't wish an injury on anybody.

Thats how I feel about it. I don't wish injury on anyone. It's pathetic to do so, IMO.

THis bs about not wanting to beat the other team unless they are 100% is just that -BS. 20 years from now who cares; nuts 10 years from now who cares. All that matters is who won and who lost. Whining because the other team did not have this or that player matters ZILCH. ITs like us crying about Deion in the 94 NFC championship game and his interfering with Irvin. DOES NOT MATTER.

Ok. And what do you want a brownie for this? It doesn't matter to you, and that's fine, but to me I'd rather beat a full squad with all their best players.

No room for doubt or complaining that way.

I never hope for any player to get injured on our team or another. But it happens and if it happens to the Eagles player and it helps the Cowboys I don't lament it. That being said I would add that I do hope that it is not serious or career threatening.

DeSean injury; Washington, Arrington arive
Nate Mink reporting ...

BETHLEHEM -- Everyone can exhale.

DeSean Jackson appeared fine walking out of the locker room with no limp or visible bandages before he hopped into his black Porsche and sped off without comment..

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Awwww, big bad tough guy Desean needed a car to come drag his sorry butt off the field.. all for nothing.

Doesn't matter if you wish it or not...our wishes don't affect it...injuries happen...when they help my team earn an easier win, I have no problem with it whatsoever. We'll lose some games when we aren't at full strength, so when another team's star misses the game, I'm happy about it.

Yeah, if memory serves me correctly, I don't recall any disappointment or sympathy by Eagles fans when Irvin was lying on the turf at their stadium. ;) They'll have to excuse me if what happens to their players doesn't bother me.

I guess I'm evil; I don't believe fans who claim they've never wished injury on a player. Back in the day, every Sunday I was hoping to see RAndy White or Harvey Martin take Theisman's or some other QB's head off. There's no greater feeling than seeing someone on your defense with a free shot on the QB, deliver it, and then see the trainers walk him off the field, not to return.

As long as no one took a dirty shot, I have no problem with Favre getting a separated shoulder, bruised ribs, etc.

I guess most fans don't remember the days when you could bury your helmit in a QB's ribs or back, when guys would pick up a qb and slam him to the ground...I don't think I'm ready to go all the way back to those days, but are you telling me you didn't enjoy watching Roy Williams knock wr's out of the game for a week or two when he was playing his game?

I'm all for physical, big time, hard hitting.

I don't have any issue with that.

I still, no matter what, don't hope, wish, pray, feel thankful, or laugh when a great hit hurts someone.

Yeah I cheer the huge hits. I love them.

If the player who gets rocked winds up getting hurt I'm not cheering at that point. I just don't cheer injuries.

The fact that Eagles fans do has nothing to do with it. If they want to cheer injuries, and think they're awesome, then more power to them.

You nailed it with this post. I love a great hit and I like it when my guy intimidates an opposing player. We're not like some Eagle's fans. When an opponent gives us a good game, I'll give him his due.
