Incredible hit and not dirty at all. I don't know what the fuss is about. When you are 175 pounds soaking wet and playing in the NFL, this is going to happen.

Moose kept saying " I don't know how we are going to take this out of the game but we have to"

Just stop playing football I guess!

They are saying it is a severe concussion and it involved memory loss. Yikes...

My question is this. If it was a "defenseless WR" call, then what exactly should the defensive guy done who was in his position to make the tackle? If Jackson had been airborne and he hit him coming down is one thing, but that wasn't the case. Jackson was on the ground and running.

I mean, what was he supposed to do? Go lower and take out his legs?

I'm not defending the hit, I'm only asking what should the defender have done?

You can't penalties the defender for doing his job.

If Moose said that then he needs to move to France. Seriously Moose...its Football. I guess you forgot being in the booth.

Football not Baseball.

DJ is 170 lbs. Everyone said he is going to get KILLED in the league. I don't wish him hurt but he has to realize this isn't Cal anymore. He will get jacked up in this league.

I didn't see that yesterday. Watching it actually scared me. I'm not an Eagles fan, but I hate to see someone laying there after a hit like that not moving. I hope he's ok.

175? he's probably closer to 160. Regardless of what NFL.com says. Look at him man.

This was going to happen to him sooner or later. That was why I never wanted him. To be that light and small sooner or later someone was going to destroy him.

There was nothing defenseless about Jackson on that play.

If they're going to take hits like that out of the game, they're going to have to admit what they're saying is basically "You can't hit a guy too hard, and it's up to the official to determine how hard is too hard."

That was a textbook play, just a big hit.

The only disagreement is that the defender lowered his head to make the shot. He certainly wasn't a "defenseless receiver", he had the ball in his hand trying to catch it and was running.

Except the helmet-to-helmet portion of the hit, I agree.

I must need to watch it again. I can't from work, but when I watched it yesterday I didn't notice any helmet to helmet contact. It was just a brief look, and probably colored by my intense dislike of Jackson anyway though.
