ESPN scroll says 2 weeks and the NFLN scroll says several weeks.

"Pro Football Talk says Jackson suffered the injury by hitting a blocking sled. No joke."

He will be back in time to play during the season. I don't imagine this will keep him out terribly long.

I guess it all depends on the degree of the separation.

Low grade is 1 week, mid grade is 3-4 weeks depending on MRI (think partial tears of ligaments), high grade requires surgery complete tears, labrum injury, could be a lot.

I had grade 1 in HS and two years afterwards I need to have full capsular shift down because even though it was a grade 1 the ligaments never snapped back to pre injury condition, they stayed stretched.

And few years after that re-injured it again, tor the labrum and at the time couldn't fix it and waited 12 years to have it fixed. I walked around 12 years with my shoulder sliding out of socket at every step.
