DeSean Jackson on Cowboys: "We gonna sting they ***"

Philadelphia's 24-0 loss Sunday wasn't quite as embarrassing as 44-6 was for the Cowboys in 2008, but it was pretty close.

The difference: The Eagles get a chance for instant redemption in the playoffs. Wide receiver DeSean Jackson, for one, will be ready. Eagles coach Andy Reid confirmed Monday that Jackson tweaked his groin against the Cowboys, but it was nothing serious.

Jackson is also getting mentally prepared. He took Twitter Sunday night after the loss:

"Got smashed by them cowboys 2daaaaaay sheeeeesh its all good we gonna sting they *** next week lil buddy," Jackson wrote.

The 2010 NFL Playoffs: Sting they ***!

I thought he had tweaked it, he was not looking as explosive coming off the line after taking the injury. For Dallas DB's they know they can handle a 100% healthy Jackson they have done so twice this year same for Mcline

I do believe it was his homeboy Maclin who got behind Newman on the play where Mcnabb overthrew him. Jackson didn't even come close to making any plays. Hell, one of his deep balls Hamlin was 1 on 1 with him and broke it up easily.

So much for being 'umpossible' to cover, eh? :lmao:

it was jackson

is there anything on a possible injury to Jackson? He was hobbling around a little bit but did stay in the game. I know he had a groin issue earlier this season... anybody?

I was surprised there is 0 information regarding injury coming out of philly. Maybe all yesterdays players were healthy, but they didn't even say the dinged players were OK.

It seems to me that it's pretty rare when the guy talking smack actually comes out and delivers afterward (Mohhamid Ali & Jimmy Johnson come to mind).

More often, the guys that talk the most, fold the fastest. I sure hope that's true this week.

When I watch the Ultimate Fighter, It's been a virtual lock that whomever comes out pre-fight saying he's gonna kick someones ace, usually folds like a cheap tent.

Patrick Crayton said that he doesn't expect the Eagles to play as bad as they did yesterday and that there will be some trash talking.

I have no problem with Trash Talking as long as you do something on the field.

Also, Desean Jackson was in position to make some plays yesterday but McNabb was horrible.

He was pretty bad too. He dropped a couple of gimmee's

I agree with Crayton, I dont think they play anywhere near as bad as a etam as they did yesterday. I hope they do, but am not expecting it.

Jackson is so fast and quick, he's bound to get loose in the secondary at least a few times. The key is pressuring McNabb not giving him time and/or hoping McNabb is simply off on the throw.

:starspin I agree completely. Jackson is so fast and quick that he is going to get open in the secondary, that's a given. So for us, getting pressure on McNabb will be a more effective strategy, IMO. I hope that Spencer will be able to keep the pressure going that he's shown us recently because you know they will be focusing on Ware.

One can't expect a good team to come out and lay back to back poor performances. I expect them to play better. I also expect that if we have a different officiating crew that we may well have a bit different of a game. It still just seemed to be a very one sided crew yesterday.

Seems to me like it was the opposite.

you might be right, it may have just been the episodes I watched and.or selective memory

Desean Jackson is great. He's who I wanted to draft last season over anyone. He's not as good as Miles Austin, Mike Jenkings is just as good a corner as he is WR.

He gonna sting our ***! OH NOES!!!!! **** that guy, his team, his fanbase who turn on him in a few years, and his coach. Throw the city in there for that matter.

D Jackson is doing the yapping

but Mike Jenkins was doing the slapping

when they play this week

we'll continue the streak

and send the Philly boys a packin'

If DeSean plays as well as he speaks and writes, the Cowboys shouldn't have much of a problem beating these clowns down again.

Dude did you see what Desean said about you on twitter?

Give me a break.

I have no problem with Jackson talking smack, too bad he sounds like an ignorant fool doing so, lol.
