What are the chances that all 3 of us agree?

When you're right, on the topic of brunettes for example, you're right.

But when you're wrong ...

I think he'll be gone before our first pick. I like him a lot and think he has a great chance of being a difference maker at the next level. WRs with size are nice, but not every WR has to be built like T.O. Marvin Harrison isn't a very impossing figure, but he's hugely successful because he doesn't take unnecessary hits, goes out of bounds when he knows a plays over, and he's not constantly going over the middle. Some guys just know how to take a hit. He'd be great in our offense, and would be a deep threat I think we're lacking.

Who is going to run with this kid? Punt returns alone he is going to be a weapon. This kid flat out has jets and crazy moves. There is not ONE safety in the NFL that can cover him.

Then your Patriots should take him with the pick they got from San Fran.

We will worry about what the Cowboys are doing.

There isn't a decent scout in the world that would compare him to Steve Smith. Smith is a very strong receiver even at his size. He uses his hands and body well and has an unreal work ethic. Jackson is a smaller Ted Ginn with probably less straight line speed. This same puppy love showed up last year with Ginn. Fortunately the Dolphins experienced it and didn't draft Quinn. Dallas was the beneficiary of that stupidity a few hours later when Cleveland came calling.

Go rewatch the highlight film I linked. DeSean Jackson has all WORLD football speed and quicks. Desean Jackson in NFL with time will get bigger and faster too.

Receivers measuring under 6 feet also made significant impressions Sunday. California's DeSean Jackson started his day with the fastest 40 of all the receivers, registering a 4.35. He followed that up by fluidly running through drills and consistently catching passes with his hands. Scouts want to know why Jackson was unable to generate more production as Cal struggled late last season, but there is no denying his potential as a receiver and return specialist. There are only so many teams that will fundamentally consider a 5-9, 170-pound receiver in the first round, but Jackson is forcing scouts to take a hard look.

BTW - Steve Smith was 5-9 180 4.41

Desean Jackson is 5-9 169 4.35

I agree with the 1st part, he's gonna be REALLY tough for anyone to cover in the NFL, especially if we draft him and teams gotta worry about T.O. and Witten.
He'd create some mismatched and be our Devin Hester in the return game.
I just laughed at the 2nd one though,

I think he could add about 5 pounds or so, that's all his frame could really hold, but to say in time he's only gonna get FASTER too?
That aint' happening, you really can't get FASTER at his age, you are what you are at that point, and adding 5 more pounds will only hurt that cause if it was a reality someone that old could get faster, it would be one thing if he could LOSE weight he'd be faster, but someone his size, he's as fast as he's gonna get, which by the way is REALLY FAST!
He's NO TEDD GINN, that's for sure, he can actually run routes, CAN or should I say shows a willingness to go over the middle and actually catch the ball in traffic AND he has the hands on top of it, he WILL make an impact in the NFL, and I hope for us at #28 if he falls that far.

oh, and where did you get steve smiths weight from?
NFL.com had him 185
NBot saying you're lying, but people have been known to ***** a little to make their arguement sound better, unless you maybe got that weight from his combine numbers, can you pot a link on where you got his weight?

TO got faster with age. Its all about work ethic and speed training. It's a myth you can't get faster. I'll bet $1 he is playing at 180-185 in 1-2 seasons.

Picking this kid @28 would be better than taking Chris Johnson in round one period.

That's cause T.O. wasn't in the ebst of shape early, on, carrying extra weight, once he got RIPPED and lost body fat and weight, he got faster, Jackson is ALREADY ripped and is as skinny as he's ever gonna be, hence he's the fastest he's ever gonna be.
If he's weighing 185 in 2 seasons after trying to put on weight and weighing in at 169 at the combines, if he gains 15 pouns of muscle on his diminutive frame, my guess is he got into a car accident and just sat in bed for 2 years eating milk shakes, that's the only way he gets to 185.

you can make a highlight reel for anyone--he did not deliver his senior year and has not proven that he will work hard enough to make it as a pro--I'd take him in the third round as a returner/possible-receiver

Most sites I have seen, put him at 166

Well he was WEIGHED at the COMBINE and weighed 169!

I do not want a 160-170 pound WR in the toughest, hardest hitting division in football.

He's 169, not 160-170, you act like he COULD BE 160 pounds!
The toughest division in football has nothign to do with anything, does that mean We Welker would SUCK in the NFC East?

That means he weighs 30 pounds less and is 2-3 inches shorter than Terry Glenn, who I consider to be a small light receiver.

No thanks ..... not in the first round.

That means he's the SAME HEIGHT as Wes Welker and Steve Smith and only 15 pounds lighter and probably QUICKER, THANKS, sign me up late 1st round!!
