screw calling Michael Turner and Eddie Royal

I called DeSean Jackson, what a player, it's too bad he's on a divison rival, and that we have to see him twice a year for probably 8-10

1st player since 1940 to start off a career w/ 2, 100 yard games

Good player. Michael Irvin said before the draft that Desean wouldn't fit in the Cowboys system. I think we could have found a way for him to fit.

I love Michael, but we have a vertical offense, and DeSean gets deep just fine

I continually laugh at naysayers who always question size.

I'm not saying size isn't preferred. It's football. But football isnt played on paper. If you can make plays, it doesnt matter how big you are. DeSean Jackson is a playmaker at Philly and was one at Cal.

Originally wanted him, but I'm still glad we got Felix and Jenkins. Although Jackson in the 2nd instead of Bennett would have been nice.

he wouldn't fit in. We are trying to find ways to fit Tony Curtis into our offense.:bang2:

wish we could have had him on our team, dropping crucial passes. What a boon.

I just don't know how long he's going to last with that thin build in the Eagles' offense where receivers are supposed to go over the middle and take some shots.

I don't outside of sproles no really doing anything at a buck sixty five.

We had him in the box at draft time, so it didn't matter how talented he was.

Though truthfully, that bomb over the top of Roy wasn't anything plenty of other WRs couldn't have done.

Steve Smith didnt come into the league as big as he is now.

And you already mentioned Sproles. Jackson will get bigger as he gets older. My point is that he was a playmaker at Cal, and he is fast with really quick feet. You cant teach that. All I'm saying is size isnt everything in the NFL... although it doesnt hurt.

I'll give you that.

I realize DeSean is looking great, but you can't deny that just about all *good* deep threats that have ever played have had some size on them.

Marvin Harrison and Steve Smith are deep threats who weigh less than 190

DeSean will be fine, he just has to play like Marvin after the catch, get down

apparantly the guy is a nut, so lets wait and see if he lasts

Id rather have Eddie Royal.....Royal has his head in the game and doesnt allow cockiness to cloud his judgement and hurt his team. Royal is an intelligent player, something Jackson isn't. Jackson is all about style over substance. Royal is substance over style.

Jackson has all world talent and can be something special in this league, but he had to take his head out of his rectum and stop acting like a circus clown. Humility man, Humility.

Also, Royal has better hands than Jackson. DeSean dropped several catchable passes tonight.

BTW, I take Felix as a returner over Jackson. Felix is flippin awesome.

I didnt want Jackson before, during, or right after the draft......and I still dont want Jackson. I have no issues with anyone who wants him....but right now I am not one of you. He simply has not matured since the Army All-Star game. I was at that game and he made like 2-3 immature plays. Now that he is in the NFL, I figured he had grown up....I was wrong.

Now, I would welcome Quentin Demps with open arms.

That's my question. There's no doubting the talent at this point. It's obvious he's a special player, even for those of us who questioned that aspect of his game before.

The question now becomes is can he hold up at that frame. Two games into the season, we don't know yet.

Coming from a Raider fan, yeah Royal lit us up but I think anyone semi talented coulda lit us up that night. He followed up his performance with not as many catches or yards but he made the important 4th down and 2 point conversion play. I've been watching Desean Jackson a long time, he is just much more explosive and dangerous as a playmaker. Doing what he does against the cowboys is a lot more impressive then doing it against a raider defense that looked like coulda been beat by a high school team that night.
