DBag is an (_*_), he's got Commander written all over him though it would probably cost them a 1st round pick & a franchise QB (good thing!) but the Birds would then have 2 very high picks (bad!)

This is a point I made in another thread about this. He's likely hurt his ability to negotiate what he really wants with other teams now cause they'll all have tape of him quitting and doing crap like this.

I disagree. Maybe he deserved more, but that's the way it goes when you sign contracts. Would he have given back money had he not played well?

Besides where is the pride? A person who has to have a salary increase to take pride in his performance doesn't have the character a team needs anyway.

His time for negotiating a salary will be when his contract is nearing expiration, and at that point the way to get a big salary is to have a track record of success and dedication and consistency to hang your hat on.
