The Deshaun Watson we see will depend on our defense. If we allow him to move around and make plays, it’s going to be a struggle. Even if our offense is on track, we still have to be able to stop them. If we can’t stop the run that could limit our offensive opportunities if the Browns are able to control the ball all day. They’ll wear our defense down. We’re going to have to contain Miles Garrett. This game on the road should provide a good barometer for what kind of team the Cowboys will have this season.

I'm actually just the opposite. I feel pretty good about the D and just very hopeful for the O.

The defense may play well for the most part during the regular season. The defense ranked 5th last season, but the problem with the defense has been in the big games and in the playoffs. There’s a few games this season, which will provide a good barometer for where the defense is. San Francisco will definitely be one of them. They absolutely manhandled our defense last season.

Watson is ranked #2 in highest sack percentage. That isn't the type of stat you want when facing the Cowboys.

Add in the fact that both starting OT's are hobbled if they start at all. Their main backup at the position was just put on injured reserve.

When you have Parsons and Lawrence on your butt, you truly have someone on your butt.

I honestly expect Dak to have a great game. Not particularly because I believe in him, but because it would just be fitting that he get the monkey off his back (for a game) while in the midst of negotiations.
