Designated Survivor

Did anyone see the new ABC show, Designated Survivor, with Kiefer Sutherland?

Thoughts?

Not a fan of Network shows, so I usually avoid even tryin em out even if they look interesting. But I decided to give DS a chance, it was ok, but not worthy enough to "record series" on the DVR.....

Very very rarely watch network. Saw the commercials and was intrigued enough to watch the pilot. I came away impressed. This series has a chance to be pretty good. So now I have the series set to record. Unless the storylines turn the show into a soap opera I'll probably continue to watch.

I think it's going to be good. Much better than reviving 24 for a tenth time

I'll have to watch it when it hits On Demand, hopefully before episode two so I can see if I want to watch it.

Same here. I liked it enough to give it a shot and I enjoyed the pilot. But I hope it doesn't go completely stupid.

I don't think the second show was as good as the first and watching Sutherland's character hide in closets and run into empty rooms to get away from conflict is getting old. We get it. It's overwhelming but lets move on. I'll give it another shot but I feel like the show just drags and almost every scene with the President has him cowering in one way or another. Oh, and the political spin about unleashing the police to round up and assault Arabs is a bit over the top.

No doubt. The writing for that guy is like a bad comic book.
Not only that, the guy already insinuated assassinating the new President.
