For the life of me I dont understand why we shy away from it? On our one touchdown drive late two times dak ran a read option and both they worked.

When you can have pollard or zeke lineup in the backfield… ceedee in motion pre snap. It makes it very difficult for the defense to find the ball. On top of that dak is big enough to beat defenders one on one.

It needs to get back to being a big part of our game come playoff time.

..have to agree here. Having Dak as option runner, would help Zeke/Pollard greatly. 1 or 2 bodies would have to account for Dak, giving RB's more space to run.

I know its scary for Dak, but right now might not have a choice. Dak still young dude, big and strong.

Dude fumbles too much.

The fumbles are mostly when he doesn’t see the defenders coming. If he’s looking at them head on he’s fine. He’s big enough where he can run over people.

Even just having that threat can have an impact on the d and open evening else up. The rams used to run a ton of it when we played them in the playoffs years ago

Okay he looks half crippled how about that?

Seems like a great tool in short yardage/goal line situations. Not sure I want him running many designed plays beyond that. Not like he has Lamar Jackson or Kyler Murray speed. Hes a power runner in those designed run situations, which you dont want your QB taking that many big shots.

He is the league leader with 6 lost fumbles.
I will add, that to his credit his Total TDs-Total Turnovers is a +17 for the year
That's 11th best in the league
