The one thing that you can be happy about is that from what I understand is that you can get your equipment in game and then us it in the Multiplayer. So, unlike CoD or Battlefield or whatever, where you have to level up and get your stuff through multiplayer only in Destiny you can gain the great equipment in the the single player and then use it on your character in the multiplayer. So that will help level some of that out.

Thats what I think will make it entirely unbalanced. Better equipment comes from more time in the game. You might get some decent items by chance alone but the casual gamer will not be able to compete with those who put all the hours in, regardless of skill set.

True. I never really thought of that to be honest.

Hahaha.

I got booted out the end of the beta during my BEST Crucible match (which I had been very average at through the beta) with like 40 seconds left. I was the last one booted as well. I cried. On top of crying that there was no more Destiny.

All weapon and armor ratings were scaled back during the beta except for when the Iron Banner event was running in the crucible. I haven't read if that will be the case when the game goes live. If so, then you have no worries as far as attack and defense are concerned.

I saw the scales version but was unsure if that applies to everything. I think they'll have both so hopefully there are enough game types to accommodate both formats.

I don't imagine I'll play much multiplayer on it. Borderlands is coming out and Halo shortly thereafter. Probably Battlefield as well but they had better make sure this version is finished.
