Naw. He is talent but 1600 yards in 3 years and on the last year of his contract

Draft a RB and get that 4 year rookie deal. Only 1 year left on Swift's rookie deal is a deal breaker for me.

I'm sure Swift figured out his days in Mo town were going to be limited after Gibbs got drafted last night.

I like it for a late-round pick, even if it is just a one-year "rental," but I don't see DET moving him for a pick so late as I would give up.

I bet they'd be more interested in exploring a football trade, and trying to get a player back.

4th would be fine for a back that can run and catch - even on a one year deal. The chance of hitting on a 4th round pick is low enough.

Should we be more open to that practice than we've been, just as a matter of routine? That's a legit question, not a statement wrapped in a question... I truly don't pretend to have studied it.

Can't stay healthy. Even when he plays, they have to limit his touches because he's always dealing with an injury.
