Would you trade a 3rd or 4th round pick for DeAndre Swift? That's probably the range you would be looking for a TB in this draft anyway.
Naw. He is talent but 1600 yards in 3 years and on the last year of his contract

I like it for a late-round pick, even if it is just a one-year "rental," but I don't see DET moving him for a pick so late as I would give up.

I bet they'd be more interested in exploring a football trade, and trying to get a player back.

He’s super cheap. I’d do it for a 3rd easily.

Ehhh, as someone noted in another thread, he's only got one more left on his deal. I wouldn't give up a 3rd or 4th for that.
4th would be fine for a back that can run and catch - even on a one year deal. The chance of hitting on a 4th round pick is low enough.

Raises the larger question...

You just solidified your depth chart at CB and WR by dealing draft picks...

Should we be more open to that practice than we've been, just as a matter of routine? That's a legit question, not a statement wrapped in a question... I truly don't pretend to have studied it.

Isn't he injury prone? Tough to trade picks for a rb with 1 year left on his deal. Ask me again later tomorrow. Too many good backs left on the board to even consider it right now.

Can't stay healthy. Even when he plays, they have to limit his touches because he's always dealing with an injury.

Funny how I tried to create a thread about this very subject and I guess it was denied. Interesting but not shocking.
