What makes me angry is wasting the season like this with a lame duck coach whom you've given zero chance of success. Now what? You fire the guy and bring in brand new people next season when you could have had them in place THIS year implementing their new schemes. The only way that makes sense is if there's someone they want that isn't available now.

About to be 17-3, my gosh against good teams this team folds like a cheap suit. What’s going to happen, this team will win enough games to be picking 17th instead of top 5 talent needed for this team.

I don't understand why Jerry thought not getting Derrick Henry was a bad idea or not doable. Making us a passing team? We've never been successful as that. All down the lines of Cowboys history where we've had success, we had a good to great back or set of backs.

1971, we had Garrison and Duane Thomas
Later, we had Dorsett. Then Emmitt. Then, Marion Barber (RIP). Then Demarco Murray (when not fumbling), and then Zeke early on .yet, Jerry thought we could actually run the ball with this? Our identity has always been good running to set up the pass.
It wouldn’t have mattered. Henry can’t get hit two yards deep. He’s a down hill runner, need time to build up momentum. Dak isn’t Lamar as he offers no threat with his legs like Lamar. I wish Henry would’ve come here so I could prove my point. Henry wouldn’t be the same here as he is in Baltimore this year. Like any back he needs a line and some holes, which our line isn’t creating this year.

Get The OC from Lions for our next head coach. Even though it will never matter as long as the Jones family owns this team.

Derrick Henry would be terrible behind this line. No RB would save this team short of prime Barry Sanders.

I mean, how do you know? Dowdle is decent, but we don't have much running game to begin with. I knew since last year we had issues running the ball and stopping it. We were doomed this year because neither was fixed. Maybe Derrick doesn't have the success he's having in Baltimore, but we surely would be least better than we are now. At least there's be the threat of running the ball.
