10/17, 121 Yards, 0 TDs, 0 INTs

4/8 on 3rd downs.

Not terrible, but not that good either.

I'm thankful that our defense is finishing strong in the 2nd half, and especially the fourth quarter, compared to years past.

A vast improvement over the first half.

I am very surprised, well more of disappointed that the defense couldn't put much pressure and couldn't get to Kitna.

We are very fortunate to have won this game.

When the lions are Balanced they are a dangerous team i don't think many people give them credit for how dangerous they can be when they are able to run the ball

I'm getting a l'il nervous about the Lion's division-mates... the Vikings - that team is gaining steam quick....

and the Cowboys don't appear to do well coming off extended down-time...

How did they go 4-8 on third down and only punt once the whole game?
I only saw the final 5 min. because of work but it was great. The pass defense seemed very pedestrian. Hopefully this team will crank it up when the game has more meaning. Every time a big game has come up they have answered the call except Old Britain> the Cowboys did have the lead in the 3rd quarter. The Old Brits run defense is weakness, if anyone could get a lead with a running game forget about it.

They attempted 3 FG's. Made 2, missed 1. They punted once, there is the 4 times they did not make it on 3rd down.

I thought they let us off the hook when they had 3rd and 1 early, maybe the first drive of the 2nd half, and they threw it 20 yards downfield. They ran on us at will. It was their SB and their last stand so it isn't surprising that they came out and played with the emotion they did.

Those late third down conversions are what absolutely killed me. 3rd and 10, pass completion to a wide open receiver for a first down. 3rd and 8, pass completion to a wide open receive for a first down. Then, finally, 3rd and 9, too much pressure to handle.

I'm not exactly sure how awful I'd feel today if they got that last 3rd down conversion. That would've been three in a row on 3rd and long, at a point in the game where you just can't let that happen to you.
