Late 4th or early 5th per Brugler -

STRENGTHS: Good-sized target with long arms to catch the ball well away from his frame…natural plucker with soft hands to catch everything thrown his way – nice job locating and highpointing to come down with off-target throws…well-built with natural body control, using his size well, working the middle of the field and holding his own in traffic – terrific hand-eye coordination…long-strider with adequate build-up vertical speed…shows balance after the catch to pick up extra yards…coachable and known as a reliable teammate – senior captain…athletic bloodlines – father (Kutztown) and uncle (Tennessee State) both played college football…productive resume with 40 career starts and three 50+ reception seasons – school’s all-time leading pass-catcher with 202 grabs.
WEAKNESSES: Lean-muscled and needs to spend more time in the weight room to develop his functional strength…will be pushed around by smaller defenders and needs to shed the “soft” label…tight lower body and struggles to create much separation in his breaks…doesn’t have any suddenness as a route runner and will struggle vs. press coverage…needs to show better creativity and wiggle as a ballcarrier to be a consistent threat after the catch…needs to stay focused for all four quarters and appears to have some mental lapses…lacks an ideal competitive temperament and too passive…some durability concerns, missing playing time in 2013 with nagging shoulder and ankle issues…character needs investigated after a Oct. 2012 incident when he was charged with one count of criminal conspiracy and simple assault after being accused of punching a student in the head – charges were reduced and he performed community service.

Devin Street eerily reminds me of Kevin Ogletree with a brain.

Alshon, wasnt good until year 2. I am not saying he is, but that is my opinion.

Alshon, in College was awesome. Faster, stronger. This kid does not have that speed and he needs to get much stronger in the upper body.

That's a good thing right?

Madden had Ogletree at a 96 speed rating. I loved me some Ogletree on the virtual field! Nothing more embarassing than Ogletree getting behind that defense.

Only thing Ogletree lacked was a brain. He had the physical tools to succeed. He just couldn't put it all together.

I think Street will eventually become a starter in Dallas once he puts on some weight. Kid has everything you want in a WR and I like the fact his best games were reserved for his best competition.
Not enough is being made of this pick.

I liked how he interviews, seems to have his head screwed on right

Yeah, definitely not as gifted. I think Street is probably the better route runner since that is where he excels and where Jeffery does not.

I hope so. Jeffrey was a terrible route runner, coming out of South Carolina. He was so physically gifted, he would just go over you and get the ball. Really smooth athlete for his size. He never looked fast, still doesn't, because everything looked effortless with him. I really like him. I hope Street is much more polished and I think he will be.

Yeah, another player from my alma mater, The University of Pittsburgh. I have seen him play these past couple of years. He can run all the routes. Seems to make the clutch catch. Not blazing speed but he can stretch the field and is good with the deep ball.

Similar to Terrence Williams?

Has better hands IMO, Williams is more of a body catcher where Street is pure snatch with the hands.
