One issue I have with him is that he'll be 24 at the beginning of the season - so you'd have him 5 years MAX before you try to get another guy back there,

So what he will be on a rookie contract for his prime years. Age isn't as big a factor as mileage anyway, if he is the answer take him.

lol, yea, unless he turns out to be special, most won't want to resign a RB after a rookie deal anyway

Outside of Elliott, my favorite RB in the draft. I don't really care about his age because if you don't get a Peterson, Gurley or Bell type of RB you move on once the price gets too high.

Most running backs begin to decline at 28. If you think he will be special for three or four years, take him and then let someone else sign him to a second contract. It's the same principle with big backs.

Averaging a lowly 4.7 avg yards a carry. That's just brutal in this era at the college level. Huge pass.
