So I watched the show for the first time last night and I enjoyed it for the most part. The plot is pretty entertaining.
However, the protagonist seems to sleepwalk through the show, almost as if he's dipped into the Ambein a little too early in the day. Someone should slip him some no-doz into his herbal tea.
Also there was an odd moment in the episode when Dexter's sister discovers her new boyfriend is an author of childrens books and thus not a mystery writer or sum such using her as an inspiration for his new book. I should say she learned this post drama queen tantrum when she broke up with Mr. Dreamy. Now, wouldn't his occupation be established early in the relationship--say within the first 15 minutes of meeting him? Isn't that something you generally discover when feeling out a potential new mate? Especially chicks! But not in this show, the writer would have us believe she's fallen in love, bumped uglies with the dude, but hasn't yet crossed the intimate line of learning his occupation. Please. A re-write was in order.
Other than that, it's not a bad show.
