Im dumb, did she kill herself bc he wasnt home and she thought he was cheating? B/C the timing seems off if Lithgow killed her

I don't know if there are "rules" here for spoilers.. but I simply can't imagine someone who likes Dexter, and does not want to be spoiled, would come into a thread titled "Dexter Season Finale".

I don't see anything wrong with the timing. Her killing herself would make no sense, nor would that scenario. There was an interview after the show with Lithgow and Hall. Both confirmed Trinity did it. Also his reaction while on Dexter's table pretty much confirms it as well. "It's already over", pretty much eludes to the fact that he already knows that Dexter's "Heaven" is destroyed.

Good ending, really opens up a lot of stuff for season 5. Wondering if Deb is going to find out eventually.. She does in the books.

But when she left for the airport Dexter went to the auto shop and was w/ Trinity ever since, no?

Well we have no idea how long Dexter waited at that auto shop for Trinity, he could have been waiting quite a while. If she forgot her ID, it can be assumed that she got back home within an hour or so to get it, where Trinity was waiting. Now was he waiting for Dexter, or Rita specifically? Who knows.

So either Dexter waited at the auto shop long enough for Trinity to do it.. or he was hidden in the Trunk.. WHILE he did it.. wouldn't that be a crazy cruel twist.

Dexter didn't go to the auto shop until after the sting on Trinity's house, since that's where he saw the busted windshield. There was a long gap in time in there where anything could have happened... Think it's pretty clear Trinity killed Rita. Why would Rita kill herself in that manner?

Why would she kill herself at all? She was happy with the changed Dexter and the kids. The kiss drama ended when Dexter slugged him.

I didn't read any of the posts in the thread but I can't wait to watch Season 4.

It may be a while as I just started watching Battlestar Galactica.

Been there done that. The first two seasons were great. Third was ok. The last was terrible.

Yeah, once I get tired of it I have a ton of more stuff I have downloaded and put on DVD to take its place.

Tom Zurack just took over the prison ship and all hell has broken loose :laugh2: .

Have you watched breaking bad?

I think it has only had two seasons so far, but it is a pretty entertaining show.

Really? You're one of the first I've come across who did not like Season 4.

Imo Season 1 > Season 4 > Season 2 > Season 3.

Season 1 was pretty much perfect in every way. It was a TV series based on some books that I really liked, that not only did the books justice, but changed it in a way that made it way more enjoyable. After season 1.. the Series really had nothing to do with the books anymore.

Season 2 was great, Season 3 dropped off a bit, but season 4 came back in full force.

I think it was the ending that irked people the most. It seemed so anticlimatic in so many ways.

I can see people being upset over a favorite character dying, but Anti-Climactic? Even if you suspected something like that would happen, I really wouldn't call that anti-climactic. Most of the people I've spoken were not prepared for something like that at all.

Ah well though, to each their own.

I don't want to ruin it for Mick but I just didn't like the story line and how it ended.

I only caught pieces here and there and heard about it through people I knew. Then watched the last few episodes......and thought the ending was kinda MEH. Didn't make me want to go back and watch past episodes, made me want to skip it actually.
