I'm so sad that Lundy died!

I totally called it before we watched the episode though. I knew if he didn't make it that it would totally ruin Deb's relationship with Anton.

It was ruined as soon as Lundy came back. They could have handled it better. He was shot at the end of the episode and then wasn't in the next one at all.

I don't know. I mean it ought to be a good death, but Trinity has only shown us that he can take advantage of women and fat deli clerks. I suppose the cat and mouse game has potential.

Also, Rita is really a ***** this season. I'm less sympathetic to her than I ever have been.

Jon Lithgow makes for a GREAT serial killer.

Debs mental break down was great. I'm wondering if they are going to do anything more with her "research" into her fathers past, if she's gonna figure out who Dexter's mother is, or if they just dropped that completely. In the books she "knows" about Dexter.

And yes, the show has taken Rita's character in a horrible direction the last 2 seasons. She was cute and shy and "damaged" originally. Now she's just a total obnoxious *****.

Since season 1 the show has gone a completely different route than the books, but I actually prefer the show's storyline to the Books.. and that's rare.

I liked her character better before the boob enhancement and all the make-up.

I hate to see Lundy gone, as I don't really care for the side plots thus far. The LaGuerta/Bautista relationship is a bore. Same with the Quinn/reporter thing. I'd much rather them continue with the "dirty cop" side of Quinn. I will say that I do like the potential of Lithgow as a villain more than Smits delivered last year.

I agree with most already said here. I wish Lundy wasn't dead though, would have been nice to see him more.

Now, with Lundy gone, who is Dexter really going to be watchful of? Quinn? He already has something on him. I wish they'd played more drama surrounding the pipe bursting in his apt and discovering something instead of just having him go there and seeing Rita sitting on his bed.

Someone needs to get back on Dexter's tail.
