I missed this weeks episode, but that isn't why I'm posting.

I told my wife about you guys telling me that I need to watch the first season to understand it (or something like that) and what do you know, first thing this morning before I even get out of bed, Dexter the first season is dropped on top of me.

So, it looks like I will get to see it after all. :laugh2:

The first two seasons were unbelievable. Great series in general.

That wasn't the case for me. It took about 4 episodes for me to really get hooked. Now it's my favorite TV show.

I tried to get a few of my friends to start watching it, and it was the same for them, about 4-5 episodes in they loved it.

I was! Unfortunately I don't have cable. I'm caught up until this season. My friend is recording season 5 for me, so hopefully I can start watching it this week.

BEST SHOW ON TV in my humble opinion.

You might want to keep her around for a while. :laugh2:

Probably so. She came all the way to lower Manhattan today (1 1/2 hour trip each way) just to drop off a bunch of ***** brownies for my work. :laugh2:

I feel just like one of the kids. (she always sends cupcakes to school with the kids on special occasions for the whole class)

So, I watched the first two episodes of the first season.

The first one was pretty good and the twist at the end was great stuff.

...the second one was pretty boring. The twist from the first episode was still there, but there was nothing really exciting in the parts they showed. (maybe the head/ice truck part was in the second one, that was good)

Anyhow, the second episode could have been better. They definitely laid the groundwork for it to have a lot of good stuff but just didn't.

His sister looks / acts very trashy in these episodes. :laugh2: In the current episodes, not so much. In the new episodes she is smarter, more confident, cleaned up, and not so slutty. It's like two different people.

By the end of the second episode it was 12:30am, my alarm goes off 5 hours later, so I had to cut it off there.

Well she was undercover in those episodes but the mouth is still there. :laugh2:

I'm not just talking about when she is wearing the street clothes, I mean even in the other scenes.

Either way, she needs to eat a donut. :laugh2:

Yeah she is way to skinny. At least she stopped smoking on camera so much.

Do you know she is married to Dexter, can't think of his real name, in real life?

So does Andy Whitfield that plays Spartacus. The last I saw they were considering replacing him.

It's in remission. That doesn't necessarily mean it's cured. You really can't be sure it's gone until it has been gone at least five years. Most cancer that will come back does so in the first five years.

Yes, I would say Deb's matured a bit over the seasons. Dexter too, that's why you see more depth in their characters.

p.s. finally saw Boondocks Saints II, and Rita was in it! With a southern drawl.

She totally became sexier and sexier throughout the show. I'm finally caught up with this season, thanks to my homie recording it for me.

Via Wikipedia;

On April 25, 2010, his wife, Jennifer Carpenter, announced that Hall was fully cured[17] and was set to get back to work for a new season of Dexter.[18]
