Dez appears better IMHO but for some reason it isn't showing up

I know this sounds weird but I was watching some coaches film a while ago, and I notice Dez gets open, very often in fact. I know Dez has a bunch of catching issues and he doesn't produce like he used to, but anybody else notices how often he is left open? It's not just this game, it's been like that all year save for like the Broncos game. He just isn't a fit for our offense, he could be but they act like it's impossible to fit him into it.
