I’m not saying zim doesn’t share some blame here but when you give up a 70 yard bomb playing two deep safeties to an offense in max protect how do you fix that? When your middle backer can’t run side to side how do you fix that? When your weak side backer can’t fill what scheme fixes that? When your DTs are pushed back into another zip code I’m not sure it matters if they’re in a 2 or 3 technique.

I think DEs makes a fair point about playing more man coverage but this is the downside when you lose Bland. You now have a rookie on the other side of the field who you don’t want matched up against Olave 1v1. I do hope when bland gets back that I’m plays more aggressive with his secondary as it’s a strength of this defense at full health.
Right I seen players playing half baked, poor technique and doing dumb stuff. One thing I know about Zimmer is he can coach a defense. I guess this is just one of those games.

The offense that could only muster 1 TD gets no blame? The defense is an easy one to crap on today, but there were other issues that contributed to the blowout.
Giving up TDs on 6 straight drives will be a loss every time…..

Just a week ago people claimed he was the best thing since sliced bread…
yeah it's nuts. i was encouraged by week 1, but all the ZIM IS WHAT WE NEEDED AND QUINN SUCKED SEE???? were super premature. we're an emotional bunch though, and having a jeckyl and hyde team doesn't help buoy the overreactions.

It was. I saw Eagles fans doing the same thing with Kellen Moore. Took one week for the praise to be premature. All this genius talk because they beat the Browns. Just like I didn’t overreact week one I’m not gonna overreact week 2. But man it sure wa some discouraging things to watch.

I never been a fan but he was suppose to fix the run defense.

In his defense they gave him two washed 35 year olds to fix the trenches. That’s insulting.
adding SOMETHING there, along with any improvement from mazi, healthy lb's and a change in philosophy is what I've been hanging my hopes on. But that already seems foolhardy.

Even then I dont believe he's the answer. The guy was out of coaching for two years and Jerry was the only one dumb enough to hire him

With Atlanta And Minnesota And Maybe Some Other Teams Making The Push, More Competitive And Making The Cowboys Look Mediocre..

We have To Believe This One Season Is a Win Or Bust..? A-- BUST....

Dumb Jerry Putting This Amount Of Pressure On Players And Coaching Staff Mike McCarthy Is Simply Ludicrous..

Who Would Want To Play Under This Conditions? Folkes Were Not Going Anywhere In Cowboys Lame Duck Season..

I wasn’t going to say nothing but I can’t help it…

I put the blame on Coach Zim Defensive Game Plan 432 total Yards on the Dallas Cowboys Defense That’s Crazy..

Coach Zim not playing to the player’s strengths and it’s easy to tell.. Cowboys Defense is at its Best Whenever They are Manning Guys Up..

Running cover 4/3 Sending no pressure (Manning Guys Up) against Speed Wr's will be a disaster every time.

Dez
Thats the way he was announced here and everybody cheered.

Zim needs players to fit his scheme. DQ was just the oposite, he adjusted his scheme.

Yeah all of the above. And though I wanted him to help in that regard the hire gave a one year rental. Coaches with options and good coach’s don’t hang on for a year this is reminiscent of an interim title. This front office made a mockery of this whole offseason.

He was never the answer for sure but he was suppose to bring some much needed toughness that did show up week 1 and left by week 2…..

It only showed up week one because our opponent was missing 2 starting tackles, starting rb, and had Watson for qb. They'll have another dominant game against the Giants and the usual posters will say he's back again and better than Quinn

That as a formidable Browns offensive line though. They really were missing one starting tackle the other guy didn’t even play last year either. And yes they didn’t have Chubb still Ford is capable of running all over us. They played a tough physical game in a hostile environment. I can’t take that away because of the Saints. Nobody saw the Saints doing what they did and no one for sure considered them tough and physical. Ravens are another tough physical team.
