Listening to Jason Cole from yahoo sports. He said Bryant is talented, but dosen't work hard. He also said Bryant is very immature. Cole said if he drafted Bryant he would have to someone wake up him to make sure he got to practices and games. Cole said from his sources at OK ST told him that he was reguarly late for meetings and gameday's. Bryant would sometimes show up 15 minutes before games. Seems like a big headache. Very irresponsible.

on one hand you have to blame Bryant, but on the other, if he has been allowed to act this way throughout his football life so far, then the coaches and teammates bear some blame as well.

Bryant is immature and his attitude is unprofessional....but he has been allowed to get buy and do his thing while acting this way. So while a lot of the blame over the last several years can be placed on authority figures and teammates.....Bryant is now a grown man. He now has to take it upon himself to grow up, mature, and start acting the part......or else he will be bagging groceries or fries within a few years....maybe even end up in prison.

got news for you- outside of idiots like the Walking Dead Man the cases where guys like these are drafted very high are going away. The last couple of years have really put the spotlight on troublemakers and headaches. There are only a few teams left now that will chance a first rd on someone like that.

Unfortunately he has Deion Sanders instead.

He's the best WR prospect since Calvin Johnson IMO. However I had never heard of any of these character concerns before. If he were to miraculously fall to us it would be a tough decision to make. I'm really not a fan of having head cases on the team, but on the other hand he may be young enough that the team can pressure him into being a professional. I'd say the odds are against that though.

If he is there I'll support Jerry in whatever he wants to do.

i know but best i remember he said that he liked michael irvin;
i was thinking this, since irvin lost his espn gig, that he miight not be willing to work for the cowboys as an extra wr tutor,

he could have all the character issues in the world, he's not falling to 27.

He might fall down say to 20th or 21st slot, remember randy moss, he fell

I tend to agree with this. It's a fairly weak year for WR and he's a very good one....so someone will go for it.

Main thing I want is for us to have a very solid draft, at least 2 impact players, with 3-4 others as solid players, that can help us right away this year.

The one thing we have done after the disastrous BS with Pacman and company is make it a point NOT to have any malcontents and head cases and trouble makers. Or those with bad work ethics. We need to hold HOLD to that.

Who do you think was better?
Let's see him play in the league for a year or two. Just last year there were a ton of very productive rookies (Harvin, Maclin, Crabtee, Britt, Wallace, Nicks, Thomas, etc) but maybe this kid ends up better than them...maybe not.

I have a hard time comparing a college player equally to a proven NFL player. Pro scouts try to do it all the time and fail on a regular basis.

That's why I said prospect. What they do in the pros is irrelevent to what kind of prospect they are.

I see...didn't catch that and it makes more sense.
I would say he and Crabtree are probably the top two college "prospects" to come out since Calvin. And then it's just a matter of opinion, so no real argument from me.
