I thought the back wasn't a big deal. A epidural doesn't sound like your typical pain killing shot. Disclaimer -- I have zero medical knowledge so I could be completely wrong on this.

Wide receiver Dez Bryant received an epidural injection earlier in week for back pain, ESPN's Ed Werder reported, citing anonymous sources.
Bryant, who missed practiced Wednesday, said his back flared up earlier this week.
“I promise you … ain’t nothing wrong with it,” Bryant said Sunday night after he was asked about taking an epidural shot. “I’m fine, man.”
