RVING, Texas -- Sunday wasn’t a flashy game for Dez Bryant or the offense. And Bryant wasn’t worried about it, either. He spent most of his brief session with the media on Monday extolling others on his team and preaching the importance of the right “mindset.”

“We have a bunch of guys waiting on an opportunity,” Bryant said. “I think every guy who has the opportunity, not one guy or coach said, ‘He can’t do the job.’

“As you can see, each guy was waiting on their opportunity and when their number was called, they went in there and did it.”

Bryant heaped praise on Dwayne Harris, who shined in special teams, saying he’s got the confidence to keep it going. He was happy about Joseph Randle’s play. And he was impressed with Kyle Wilber, who filled in (along with Caesar Rayford) after DeMarcus Ware left the game in the second quarter with a strained thigh muscle.

Well, if you don't like JG, then at least like what he's done with Dez, because that sounds like someone who's completely bought in to what JG preaches (and no one can complain about how much Dez has come along)

What's incredible about him is that he is still one of the youngest guys on the team, he is the same age as T. Williams.

Love me sum Dez... We need a Dez like player on the Defense..

Great point.

I think the closest we have to Dez on D is Carr & Hatcher.

I was thinking Lee and Hatcher, but, yeah, we've got some leaders on the team now. Murray's one of those guys, too. And Wit. And Tony.

Tony Romo (err I mean Jones, Jerreh) is the face of this franchise until he retires. Nice to see Dez's family all have CowboysZone accounts though...

Don't get so emotional

We are talking about player wise. If you wanna cry about it, go lock your self up in the bathroom with a pillow.

Honestly he's past that at this point, he's basically the face of the franchise now.

Right now, Ware is the face.. You know we can only have one at a time.

In the past 15 years, it was Parcells, then it was Roy (the safety), then Romo, and now Ware. Dez is on the rise, but he hasn't replaced Ware yet as the face of the franchize. When you start seeing him in all the media promos before the game, then he'll be the face.

I would say Dez is the most popular player in the team. That would be more accurate. But I do agree with you on the promo stuff. I would think that's coming soon. Although he is a shy kid and seems to get nervous when talking I could see that not happening.
