In the above tweet, Silver says that was part-1 of his sitdown with him. Maybe you just saw the first part? I don't know because I missed it, but I am taping it and will watch later.

Let's just hope it's just part 1, because that piece they showed wasn't much. They talked more about the 1-bit than what actually shared.

Yeah, I hope so.

Thanks for always making sure this board has content, WG.

Well, I was just posting the follow-up to what DWhite originally posted, but thanks anyway. :)

On a side note, it looks like they got another Dez segment coming up in a few minutes.

Again, not a lot to recap..

He's learning to be consistent and he uses Jason Garrett as an example. After every practice, Garrett writes something on a paper. He doesn't know what he writes, but he does it every day. Dez was motivated by that to become more consistent.

Dez Bryant is generally very motivated to succeed, prove people wrong, and to get paid as a Top 5 WR.

The more I see of him, the more I like Dez. You can tell he is a guy who has over come a lot, but just wants to do the right things. Nothing but love and respect for him.

I love the guys fire, intensity, and skills on the field but I do worry about him long term. I won a contest one time on his twitter page to meet him in person over dinner. About an hour after the time we were supposed to meet, he called me and asked if I still wanted to meet.... um yeah. So anyway, he shows up an hour and a half late and says he can't stay for dinner but will answer some of my questions, etc. He stayed for about 15 minutes and was a really nice guy. That was his rookie year, now here we are years down the road and he stood up this reporter for days after they agreed on times to do the interview. My issue with him is his stability. I'm honestly scared that the Cowboys are going to over pay him and he isn't going to pan out for us long term. I hope I'm wrong. I really love the kid.

Did you see the reasons why he "stood the reporter up"? Cowboys reasons. I'm perfectly fine with that.

I don't understand how anyone could not admire this guy. I was severely against the pick, but when I saw him break down on national TV when the Cowboys drafted him, my mind started to change. He's done nothing but mature and become a man before our eyes.

He has overcome disgusting odds and adversity.

His life should be nowhere near what it is right now.

I wish I had half of the drive and strength this guy has.

No, it wasn't only Cowboy's reasons.

"
And the next night, I went to the Cowboys' last preseason game, after which he told me -- twice -- "we are definitely doing this tomorrow afternoon."

Well, Friday afternoon became evening, and evening became night, and when Bryant still hadn't shown up at Wells' house, I was a stressed-out mess. At that point, I got in touch with my inner diva, which in retrospect doesn't make me particularly proud. Wells' engaging wife, Linda Ngo, tried to talk me off a ledge, while Bryant's lawyer, Royce West -- a Texas state senator since 1993 -- drove to the receiver's house and implored him to honor his commitment.

When Bryant showed up, he was visibly angry. "You've got 10 minutes," he growled, storming into the house.

"Oh," I shouted, "are you in a hurry? Really? 'Cause I've been waiting five days ..."

lol. Ya, a guy who ISN'T a Dez fan. What a dumb question by me.
Dallas Dez Bryant's forgot it was all about him, sure they have been good/great Cowboys disliked before. Such as Terrel Owens. DOn't see what the big deal is.

I can say the same for the entire team. I DISLIKE the entire team (as you do for Dez). It's ALL about them.

The teams doesn't respond to DEZ.... He throws a tantrum or tries to fire up the team, and it seems like it means nothing to anybody. They just ignore him.

Good kid. But he isn't a leader.
