Anyone notice Dez's catch over Amukamera at the goal line? Eerily familiar to the no catch in Green Bay. He catches it cleanly, takes a couple steps and dives with the ball outstretched, goes to the ground and the ball bounces out of this grip. But it's ruled a catch.

If Dez crossed the goal line in Green Bay, I have no doubt they would have called it a touchdown. They would have considered the play dead once he crossed the plane after getting the two feet down.

What an abomination this rule is.

Yeah. The only difference is the lunge towards the goal line vs NYG is more pronounced. But it would have been interesting if Coughlin challenged the play.

I saw that last night, thought the same thing. Almost identical.

did it occur a week after a controversial call favoring the cowboys and the Head Weasel of Officiating going into duck and cover mode?

Like that " Head Weasel"... he's running out of words to continually cover himself on overturning the " catch"

I don't need a replay, I remember that catch! It's too bad the nickname 'Beast Mode' is already taken because Dez is that!
