Yes they were. Our Dline was wearing their Oline like a wet shirt. It didn't help that in that game (and the next playoff game against them), the packers offensive line were allowed to hold all game with impunity to protect Rogers.
Go bust up some Green Bay stuff at the store. We could have a contest! The reminders in this thread are bringing back all the angst. I gotta go break something now. Thanks, guys.

One of a handful of times that I've cried tears over a football game. Absolutely devastating.
I've asked myself many times over the years whether this is all worth it. Football is brutal man. I feel your pain!I was 12 when GD Jackie Smith dropped a sure TD in the end zone against the Steelers in the SB. *^%#.
You have to admit the Packer lines from 2014-16 were excellent at getting away with holding. It didn't help that in that game (and the next playoff game against them), the packers offensive line were allowed to hold all game with impunity to protect Rogers.
I don't think any football fan can remain so without a masochistic trait.I've asked myself many times over the years whether this is all worth it. Football is brutal man. I feel your pain!
Worse than the Dez drop.I turned it off shortly after it began. Rogers had one leg and he didn't need to wash his jersey after the game....... pathetic
The saddest thing about the Dez"no catch" is he could've secured that ball for a certain catch instead of shifting the ball to the other hand to stretch for the end zone

I always think the same thing.
Granted, the way it played out I do think it was a catch, but Dez could’ve eliminated any doubt by just securing it and getting tackled short of the goal line with a 1st down.
I understand why he did what he did, but I do wish he would’ve just secured it VERY deliberately and gotten the 1st.
Also Romo got sacked to much in the 3rd and 4th quarter. Combination of Romo not able to find anyone open and OL breaking down. Defense faltered badly, but so did the offense. The defense faltered without a lot of talent going up against Aaron Rogers, while the Offense with a ton of talent faltered vs a defense they should have been able to put up 30 plus points on.Yes the offense was performing well, defense lacked a lot. They performed well at times only because they were well rested most of the time. From the ball control offense Dallas had.
But against an elite offense and / or QB they did not do as well. Also I believe that year they did not face a lot of strong QB's or played against back ups.
There were other opportunities to win that game, as Murray's fumble hurt a lot as well. The D could not stop a hobbled Rodgers.
