Dez caught it

the football move BS is something that whoever thought that up needs to be hung

He wanted to make a ESPN highlight reel instead of securing the ball before hitting the ground and it cost us the chance to win the game. He didn't catch it.

Dez was going for the end zone like he always was; because that is what matters
he caught it in the opinion of pretty much every single football player asked so you are as usual wrong

Going to the end zone is meaningless if you don't secure the ball first.
He should've secured the catch. That would've made it first and goal.
They could've ran more time off the clock or force the Packers to call time outs.

I knew the second I seen that replay it was going to be ruled incomplete. And I was right.
You don't extend the ball away from your body while trying to catch it.

glad I listen to other PROFESSIONAL PLAYERS that said it was and you like to forget that even the NFL said it was a catch later.
Enjoy being alone and wrong

It was a catch later. It wasn't a catch then. I listen to professional players also.
Everything I said is 100% correct.

1. It wasn’t a catch under the rules at that time. That is true.
2. It would be a catch today and under any reasonable ruling. There is a reason the rule changed bc it’s stupid.
3. You can’t extend the ball , if you don’t have control of it already.

He was extending an unsecured ball. That's why the ball bounced off the grass.

You can’t extend the ball if you don’t have it under control. He lost control as he hit the ground, not before he hit the ground. None of that matters. What matters is the rule changed after that and it would now be a catch. Because that rule was stupid.

As he was going down he shifted the ball from his left hand to his right hand and he didn't fully have control as the ball hit the ground. He should've tucked the ball into his body as he was falling down or not switch the ball to his other hand.

I don’t have an argument w that stance. Catch the ball first, absolutely. Thats unarguable. Doesn’t change the fact that the rule was stupid.

I'm 99% sure DeMarco Murray would've gotten the ball in the endzone on the very next play. Unfortunately we will never know.

I agree and we likely still would have lost the game. But we will never know, as you said. And I was at that game. Brutal

everything you said was 100% opinion
The NFL said they were wrong so you were wrong as well
own it

And right there is your own admission of blowing it
you cannot switch a ball from hand to another if you do not have control in the first hand.
The very act of switching hands means you are controlling the ball

This never-ending topic is like Dracula and will never die, so this is my formal apology to @MarcusRock for criticizing his revisiting it in the past.
