I could see on the sideline last night that Dez looked like he was getting in Chido's ear a little bit after his missed attempt to come away with the interception. I got the impression that Chido was caught off-guard a little by the reprimand, but personally I love that Dez went up to him and said something. I'm so grateful that we have a player, especially on the other side of the ball who is so passionate.

Chido had a rough night, but he'll be fine. You can see his gifts, but he's thinking too much. Can't do that in the secondary.

I was even more happy that Scandrick was willing to coach the guy up.

Actually Dez was asking him, "now what time do we have to be ready for Jerry's induction ceremony on Saturday. Make sure I am ready rook. "

learning him the force so he'll become Obi-Wan Chidobi

yeah, that was pretty bad...... lol

Not too bad actually lol

Chidobe was in position alot last night. Marinelli just put them out there and said cover the man in front of you. I still get pissed tho lol.. game planning is huge in the NFL, offense in preseason always has a huge advantage.

Hopefully no serious injuries last night. Secondary needed this extra game in preseason

agreed......to me last night was more like a glorified scrimmage than a preseason game. I saw the goal as getting the youngins game speed reps/experience, executing on their individual and unit positioning and just getting out of there unscathed.

I'm not aware of any injuries and don't recall anyone remaining on the turf or heading back to the locker room

Awauzie will be fine, part of not getting that pick 6 is experience and learning the speed of the game at this level. it's an adjustment period.

Exactly, There were plenty of plays where Chido was in position but looked to be confusing himself.

The coaches now have some tape on the players going against different guys and it will hopefully help out the coaching staff and the players to get better. If this was the second to last preseason game I would be very nervous. If the STARTERS are playing like this then I will start thinking the sky is falling. I don't expect a bunch of camp bodies and rookies to look like seasoned vets after the first game. They still do have a long way to go though.

I love this kid, his mistakes are born out of being overaggressive not out of passivity, I can live with that. He's smart and will "get it" sooner rather than later.

He is a rookie, he is still learning the speed of the game and he is also learning multiple positions.

I have a feeling that he will have his struggles here and there but you can see the talent and I think when he gets it down he will quit having to think about it and he will just know what to do.

We're in for a long year with our secondary and lack of pass rush.

Let's wait and see. The defensive line is coming around a bit if it stays healthy. Scandrick and Lewis didn't play last night, and Sean Lee makes a huge difference in everything.
