Well if it's like any of our previous games against the Commanders, no one will be able to get open and Romo is gonna get smashed for 4 quarters.

Against possibly the worst defense in NFL history, they need to come out and take care of business like they did against the Rams. This is a very bad Commanders team.

Just hang on to the ball Dez, you post the videos about getting stronger so I want to see it translate to the field.

If the Cowboys go out and continue what they started in Denver while crushing the Commanders I will feel a whole lot better about this season so far. Fact is they have to attack like they did because the defense isn't going to do them any favors. I've no doubt that RG3 will have his best game of the season this Sunday.

Dallas can and should win but to expect a "crushing" from this crew is unrealistic. Defense and head coach not good enough for that.

That offense we saw on Sunday needs to become the norm with a few more runs. Attack, attack, attack. Put pressure on the opposing defense.

We are talking about JG here. I can just picture it now: Romo to Garrett, "I think we need to attack over the middle and down the field on Washington's defense in similar fashion to what we did against the Broncos. I see some great opportunities to exploit some of their coverages, from watching the film". Garrett: "Umm, no, their secondary is not playing very well, and besides, that's exactly what everybody will be expecting us to do. Its like that throwing-to-Dez-while-inside-the-5-crap, its too obvious! Let's look like the smarter cats and go conservative in this one".

Ok, enough of my feeble attempt at humor. I know different defenses may require different offensive approaches and game plans, but it would be nice if we can start imposing our will on defenses for a change, instead of letting them dictate to us. I think we have the weapons to do it. And I agree with Mldardy, Attack! Attack! Attack!

Yeah throwing it up there too Dez is obvious everybody knows what our first play is going too be especially when you see just one guy on Dez, but they can't stop it, they unstoppable. If it works keep it til you get a mismatch elsewhere.

It's only good if the offense continues to score like this. I can't forget how they were shut out in the second half of the Chargers game last week though.

Thats because we tried to establish the run. Garrett forgot we were a passing team.

I'd like to see Dez get more explosive at the 10 yard line and not run out of gas this week. He should have scored 3 times Sunday.

Unless we're going to blow everyone out, we're going to need a rushing game. I've seen the Cowboys abandon the run a lot of times and the results are 8-8. So if we can put up 40 points a game then I guess we don't need one.

One thing I really liked about Denver is they threw to dez in the endzone. EASY touchdown and automatic. That's what they should have been doing all along. I didn't get us getting an easy score or two by Dez and then going away from him in the endzone. He's a touch down monster and keep throwing to him in the endzone until teams make huge adjustments and then use that to hit other guys. The problem with this team is consistency. Will our team be smart enough to carry this gameplan into the next game?

The results of 8-8 is not abandoning the run. Its knowing when you need to run it or when its best to pass. In the San Diego game, it was like we were forcing ourselves to establish a run game despite San Diego being last in the league in pass defense. Why? This is why I can't understand our offensive philosophy.

Man, Dez is awesome.

He is not only becoming the best WR in the NFL but becoming a leader on this team.

Very proud of Dez and what he's accomplished so far.

I'm justifying that by saying to myself he has a back thing going on. He definitely slowed up on that one long pass.

Calvin Johnson might disagree but he's hurt I was told.

Dez has been solid though and made some great catches.

If we have any shot at the POs, we have to attack vertically. We are not good enough of a team for Dink and Dunk Tony to play and win. We need 2007 Tony Romo plus Demarco to stay healthy all season. Hopefully our D progresses to the point of being serviceable instead of the worse passing D in the league and Tony can take shots but stick to a basic west coast style but until then, we need him to win games for us.

That was the 5th game of the season before they "played explosive" and it was against a team that had a 30th ranked defense in the league. Everyone expected us to lose so that took the pressure off Romo...until the end of the game. Denver was also down 4 starters. This isn't the norm in Dallas but it does show what we are capable of against teams with bad defenses. I don't expect us to play the same way against Washington but I hope we do and can exploit them. At least this past game "should" boost the confidence of our team for another game or so.
