Dez defends Romo

He defended Romo right after the game as well. I'm good with that. :starspin

That's right up there with "dog bites man." Teammates rarely call each other out publicly.

Did anyone expect them to throw him under the bus? He does a good job at doing that himself.

I can't watch Bryant's post games. He looks like he wants to just breakdown.

Dude has so much invested into every game, I feel for him.

Why wouldn't they back each other...? I'd like to think the team hasn't sunk that low.

So did Brooking, Spears, Witten.

But, thats expected. I wouldnt think anyone would publicly crucify him(excluding Bennett)

Dez really sounded like he meant what he said...I could tell he was also hurting from this loss (sounded like he was near tears). I think that rallying around those players who may have made costly mistakes and supoporting them is a crucial part of this team coming together and turning the corner.

Did he make sure everyone was aware that's his quarterback? That's his team mate?

He said that was Sean Lee's 1st career INT. Nothing like professionals who don't know their facts.

Dez did the opposite extreme, and appeared to really mean what he said. I found it note-worthy.

Right. It's just the fans who've packed it in so far.

Anyone who has played with tony love him. Look at how T.O broke down defending his QB ;)

There is no comparison between Dez and TO. Dez has shown he has passion for the game and respect for his teammates. something TO has never done.

True. He just needs to learn how to finish games the way a real #88 would.

I can't stand how everyone - the media and fans alike - think Tony is some huge choke artist. The guy never gets any credit when he leads his team down the field in the last two minutes of a game or anything like that. He's made plays to win ball games wayyy more often than he chokes in pressure situations like that.

Get the heck out of here with that noise seriously. I just lost all respect for Schefter after watching that.

Yep. If he makes a mistake, it was a "key" game at a "key" moment (like this one, a non conference away game with 15 left to play). When he takes over a game and wins... thats just a stat padding performance, not an indication of his value to the team.

I cant find it within myself to be too upset with Romo. Without him we would still be having the debate about whether we are another 5-11 team or could sneak into the wildcard round. He is the reason that expectations have been raised above 5-11 records.

It was a joke. I'm glad they have each others backs.
