Dez felt "discomfort" in foot late in week

Sounds about right. I think folks took for granted that Dez would simply play through the pain. Not as easy as it may sound. The fact that he's running and cutting is a great sign. Now we just wait until everything continues to heal and the pain in that foot subsides. Who knows when that time comes...but I think we are close.

He may feel "discomfort" for a while. The question is can he handle it. I guess it was too much for even him this time. I'm not searching for the nearest cliff.

I have a question. Why is Tony traveling, but Dez is not? Not for any other reason than I just want to know what go's into that decision. You would've thought he would be there for the World Trade Ctr function at the very least. Is this is his decision or the teams?

Could be they don't want Dez on his feet wondering around all over the sidelines. Want to give his foot as much rest as possible.

Been saying it. When the bone is healed Dez will be back. Not a moment too soon.

To his credit, Dez did NOT travel with the team Friday but he traveled on his own Saturday, flying commercial.

The bone is healed... Even if it's healed he will still experience discomfort and some pain it's natural. If it wasn't healed he wouldn't be out catching passes and running in NYC right now.
