Very likely a shootout.

Maybe we get a couple of bounces to go our way. Could definitely use some more INT's or maybe even a big special teams return to help us get the edge.

Alex Smith has yet to throw an interception this season.

Maybe he's due.

The Chiefs don't have Peters follow guys around.

yea he only plays on one side and shows the interest in tackling in the running game on the level of deion sanders. This tells me brown and williams will take turns blocking him and pushing him around and running on his side...which is also dee ford's side who is not much of a run player either.

Honestly, I don't think Dez play, at least so far this season, merits that teams put their best corner on him anymore.
I'm a Dez fan but I think in his matchup with Peters he'll come out on the short end. My reasoning is that the Cowboys run Dez on too many verticle routes, which are easy to cover one on one and easy to play the safety over the top. When they do this, average cbs have success against him but elite cbs shut him down. CROSSING ROUTES, CROSSING ROUTES and more CROSSING ROUTES. PLEASE!!!!!!

My reason would be Dak isn't quite the precision passer he needs to be. Dez is open but is often not seen, or the ball is un-catchable.

Dez isn't a major focal point any more. As long as the teams wins, I don't care if he gets 100 yds or 1 yd

He's not even on the front page anymore. He's 41st in the league in receiving yds
And in his honor, you can see my iPad is at 41% charge. Magic

The Chiefs can't stop the pass, and they're worse against the run.

Offensively, Dallas should have no issues.

However, KC might score every time they have the ball.

We could see 70+ points on Sunday.

It all depends on how well the front 7 plays. If they struggle to stop the run and put pressure on Alex Smith then game will be over before it even begins.

Dak lacks killer instinct and aggressiveness at times, he is too concern about being a bus driver.

I hope we don't see Dak trying to force the ball to Dez
That's the biggest concern. I don't see it slowing the Cowboys if they don't.

Overall, the game will be won or lost by the defense.

They're awful. Ranked 30th in the league.

29th against the run, and 30th against the pass.

They can't stop anything.

You talking passing yards allowed? I've never viewed that as a particularly useful metric for measuring pass defenses -- just like offensive passing yards for the offense rarely tells you much either.

Defense QB rating is the stat I usually see referenced for measuring the overall quality of a pass defense -- and the Chiefs are ranked 10th in the league in that statistic.

We are not going to see a shootout. Every week the fanbase has no faith in our D and that believe that they are going to give up 30+. The Defense are all back and healthy and they have played real well the last two weeks. Yes 49ers and Washington are scrubs but they did what they had to do.

IMO Peters is the best corner in the league outside of PP. It could be very frustrating for Dez if they don't find ways to move him away from Peters.
PP is severely overrated IMHO. I’d say Sherman and Peters are the top 2 but I’m biased, one plays in Seattle l, and the other went to school in Seattle (UW). :)

Interesting, I happen to think Sherman is over-rated. But hey, i'd love to have either one on my team.

I think Tony Romo was reading my posts.

oh and its awesome Romo would say that about Sanders to a huge audience. I know it drives old mc hammer wannabe crazy.

6-73.

Not exactly getting destroyed. Was open a couple of other times but Dak couldn't get him the ball.

Dez had a nice game. I think games like this are essentially Peak 2017 Dez. If he can have 5-6 catches a game and 60-70 yards and occasionally a TD, the offense can function.

After 8 games Dez is on pace or 76 catches for 878 yard and 8 TDs.
