when his contract is up. Fitzgerald just signed for 8 years $120 million ($50 million guaranteed).

Well Fitz is arguably the best WR in the NFL and may be Canton bound when all is said and done.

Dez has a long way to go. How many years left on his contract anyway 2?

Jerry will pay him.

Let's wait till he plays a full season before worrying about restructuring his contract :laugh2:

Wow...

Already comparing Dez to Fitz.

One can only dream that when it comes time to resign Dez he is worth such a deal. It would be awesome. As for right now, though...we need to wait and see.

Screw that, 15 mil a year for a WR!? They are out they damn minds. I wouldn't pay Fitz that, and I wouldn't pay Dez that. Sorry.

Well i dont agree with that either.. Way to much esp after cba.

Fitzgerald will never come close to seeing that contract play out. A modified one, yes. That one? No.

The talent which Bryant exudes almost guarantees that he will see a similar contract one day, but he must first put together a few solid seasons. Then it will be a simple matter of caponomics.

Yep. That's gonna be restructured sooner rather than later.

I don't think so. Those low spending teams have to honor this new cap floor. The Cardinals probably feel who better to spend the money on than their best player. You can trust Larry. There's really no risk there other than injury. And that's a risk everyone carries.

Wonder how long it will be before players start getting billion dollar contracts.

:laugh2:

Haven't the Commanders already started that trend?

Give it a few more lockouts, we'll be there.

At this point it's nothing but assumption to say that Dez will be as good as Fitzgerald, who will likely end up being one of the five best to ever play the position.

That being said, if he achieves that level he will be worth the money.
