I feel like he is one of the few people on this team that fans of other teams really like. I know people that hate the Cowboys, but love Dez.

I guess everyone is different but among people I talk to it seems to be different. Like I know people who hate the Cowboys but they'll say they like Demarcus Ware or Jason Witten but Dez usually gets hate. But I will say that among Cowboys the one person that fans seem to fear going against their team is Dez. I hope Demarco can become that guy too.

I agree. From fans I know personally of other teams, including division rivals I'd say Dez is the one player on this team whose talent is universally respected, even more so than Witten or Ware, which has more to do with the fact that Dez game has more flash not necessarily an indictment on Witten or Ware.

But to Zordon's point I think if you look at it from a media standpoint Dez isn't really treated like the star he is. Unless of course there's a negative headline attached.

I disagree. In my experience, he's the one Cowboy that may get hated on as much as Romo. Read the comments on any Dez article and it's frightening the stupid stuff that gets said.
