Dez likely out Sunday

Does/did anyone really think he's going to play this week? This weekends game is important, but not as important as letting Dez fully heal.

Wait, so Dez might not play? I was assured by my CZ brethren that he would be healed because he is "all heart"

So "heart" and "effort" and "want to" can't speed up the process of healing a fractured bone? Who knew

Healed versus recovered and able to play are two separate things. A bone can be "healed" and a player may still be experiencing pain and discomfort from the procedure meaning said player cannot play. Doesn't mean the bone is still broken. Just like a torn ligament can actually be repaired/healed BUT the player may not have recovered yet thus cannot play.Doesn't mean the ligament is still torn.

Two separate things. Dez very well may be healed (meaning the bone is medically fine) but the recovery part is what is at issue.

How difficult is that for some to understand?

That only works if you have a bone graft from a unicorn... which Dez did not have. At least I don't think it was.

Thanks RS.
Honestly not trying to nit-pick, but I do wish when you guys posted this stuff you'd just put the source in the headline.

It's written as if this if this is certain fact (as if Dallas has announced it as fact) when actually it's just Rappaport once again making a guess.

Maybe a title saying : "Rapaport says....." or "per Ian Rapoport: ...."

Again, not trying to be a weenie here.

Somebody, give me an "Amen Brother".

Sorry if I used the wrong terminology, but, to me, if a player is still experiencing pain and discomfort, they're not fully healed.

So he just started running after a long healing process, and folks want him out there this week?

That sounds like a hamstring injury waiting to happen. Or worse.

He was medically cleared, more than we know what's going on. I myself don't see him playing.

Well said my friend

My wife knows his mom and dad. I just asked her to tell them that

I'm sure she won't.
And maybe that's a good thing, doof.

Take advantage of potential connects, not denigrate.
Although I can feel the satisfaction of being in a position to inject venom directly into a vein...

Still- come on man, we can do something with this. Let me be sleazy...

Your right she wont. I tried to get her to use the word "hammy" a while ago with them.

Anyone reading this board from the gnats organization has no idea now if Dez will play. Just like the rest of us. ..perfect.

You must be reading posts that aren't there, or that I'm not seeing somehow. Dez has always been questionable for this week. Sure, people said he'd be in the lineup if it were up to him, but that's not the same thing as saying he was definitely going to play. And nobody ever thought he would heal faster because of his heart.

I did see a couple arguments that he might return faster than players typically do given the pain tolerance he's displayed previously. But this was a bone break. The bone being healed was always the gating factor.
