Wasn't that last year when the commentators thought Dez was acting up but the mic'd up video was released and he was telling all the guys "we the best" and was just trying to boost morale and not give up.

It was. And his teammates have said as much many times, too. He's a good teammate. Some of our fans are just going to have to do the hard work of struggling to come to terms with that, somehow, someway.

Murray doesn't carry the ball correctly I've noticed. He cradles the ball and does not have his hands around the point of the ball. Very interesting that they don't have this corrected yet.

It drives me crazy. And he seems to get a pass for it when they talk about his recent fumbles. It's obvious what the issues are. There shouldn't be any confusion about it or any surprise when he fumbles it as a result.

Say what you will about Jerry Jones, but there is no way Dez is a Cowboy if we had a more risk-averse GM (perhaps because he COULD be fired, unlike Jerry).

Not saying that's beneficial most of the time, but it paid off big-time in 2010. Jerry struck oil with #88.

Good point there. Love Dez but obv most GMs agreed with playing it safe; almost identical to Moss except for the suspension. JJ finally was able to redeem that error, but wouldn't likely do so if his job was on the line. Funny how that worked out. Then went to play it safe (and smart) with Fred/Martin after the Claiborne trade up (which I was for:oops:). JJ has been doing well the last few seasons and outside of Carr/Esco has been great @ managing the players. Threw up a little bit in my mouth there:D

That probably wouldn't work. We might have half of them screaming at the other half when things were going badly. Or even worse, walking off the field.

>:)

/Dons flame-retardant suit

Too much testosterone makes weakens hide. Aikman would tell him to can it...Dez is our new Aikman...Ware/Witten accepting loss. Yeah he plays Irvin's position but he leads like Aikman. Aikman woulda been cuss n if it weren't for Mike (in the huddle anyway). I'm no lip reader but Aikman didn't shy away from it either (just didn't use his arms ;))

I keep telling people. Jerry might mess up a lot. But when he is on, he is on!

Dez the man. I love how he let's the team know "They are waiting for something to happen, while they wait let's put it on they ---" Something to that effect.

Don't let up!

Love the attitude.

Credit where credit is due, Dez was Jerry all the way.

Yes, thank Jerry. But thank Deion too. If it wasn't for Dez's meeting with Deion which got him suspended from OK State, then Dez doesn't fall to the Cowboys.
Really, that was the only knock on Dez, at least the knock that knocked him down in the draft. Had he played his senior year and kept his nose clean - and nothing gives me the impression he wouldn't have other than a little immaturity, which should be expected from college kids - he would have been a top 10 pick. Heck, looking back on that draft, he's top 5. Only Eric Berry, Joe Haden, Earl Thomas and DeMaryius Thomas are equal or better than Bryant at their respective positions based on consistent performance since they've been drafted.

Wellll...to be fair that video only shows upbeat, happy, good teammate Dez. I'd be interested to hear what comes out of his mouth when the Boys are being manhandled and Dez is pitching a hissy fit.

Very fair. Of course, when a player is miked, he's going to be a bit on guard and as encouraging as he can be. Nevertheless, I have no problems with what he said.

Great one-liners in that one.

"When I stand up, it's an interception."

"Don't block the safety!" -DeMarco

Ooooh Wheee ... thank you for posting this!!
As long as the Boys keep playing like this I'm never going to get any work done.
After Dez' TD I loved seeing the guys on the sidelines dancing ... doing the "Nay-Nay" I think they call it:oldcouple:

That's my favorite part of his motivation ... that's what we need .... that's what we've been missing. That killer instinct. He recognizes what's been happening and what we need to fix.

I'm definitely liking me some X Bryant. Teams are trying to figure out the best way to stop us, and Williams has screwed those plans up for them. Williams is the key to what teams decide to do with Dez Bryant. They can double him up, but they can't have Williams running wide open catching TDs over lesser CBs. I suspect teams my start putting their inferior corner on Dez and double him up. Then use their best corner to cover Williams. So Williams, it's time to become a grown man.

I get you, but even though that happen, Jerry took him when other 24 teams didn't.

Didn't the Cowboys jump the Ravens to get Dez? If I recall correctly, the Ravens wanted him too, but we jumped up and snagged Dez.
