I was actually thinking different. Maybe I'm so fixated on the whole 'abandoning the run game' stuff but I thought he was indicating that they should continue to be aggressive, i.e. continue airing it out. But then again, you can be aggressive running the ball too...

No, no...that's what I implied too. He knows they do not stay aggressive enough to drive the stake in and finish a game. They get too cute, abandon the run or mismanage the clock. When we had that big lead, he wanted to continue the slaughter instead of letting them back in the game.

Yep! Herm Edwards on First Take today said you keep giving the ball to Murray even if you run screens and what not. Said that Jamaal Charles scored on 4 screens etc.

It's funny, saw this posted on Facebook and you can tell the people that didn't even watch the video. Calling him a horrible teammate and the next T.O. People love to talk even though they have no idea what they are talking about, It's so frustrating.

I don't feel this way about anybody else but if this guy ever left it, would be hard for me to cheer against him.

The passion and emotion he shows really stands out on a team full of beta males.

That was really hard to watch. Those videos are edited so it isn't fair to completely assume that everyone he was speaking to was just ignoring him. I know he wasn't saying anything deep or profound but the part near the end when he was speaking to the offensive line feels uncomfortable to watch. One of the linemen looked like he was sniffing salts and had a look on his face like he couldn't wait to take a nap.

I love the fire and passion dez brings.

What concerns me is that after watching that video I get the feeling that the rest of the players have Dez labelled as overly emotional and immature. Now maybe he yaps non stop and after listening to it for so long it wears thin. This I can't know. And maybe the portions are edited out where Tony, Witten, Murray, anyone, else was pumping the team up. However I am very curious how the rest of the sideline acts in certain situations.

People will over react and say cut Romo, Ware, Witten ect ect because they don't see them acting like Dez. The truth is we need that passion and fire to come from the Head Coach and the coordinators. I don't want a player being the spark plug. I want it to start at the top. Our core has Lost so much over the last 10 years that they have become too numb to the pain.

it's sickening my man. i don't know what happened to this franchise. we used to have players with personality, energy, swagger. now we have a bunch of soulless RKG drones staring into space every game. miles austin is a *****, as is the rest of the soulless losers in that video.

Robots - been that way for past 10 years. Sad.Leaderless.

Get rid of the smiling clowns like Ware etc., and draft a couple more of these type of guys.

Love Dez!

LOL @ the people that clicked this thread with hopes that it would be a video of him imploding all over the place so they could make this a 20 page thread...

I hope Dez's passion doesn't lose to the ambivalent environment that has permeated Valley Ranch since before his time.

Love me some passion and absolutely love me some Dez. As someone else so succinctly put it, if we could duplicate his approach to the game in many of our other supposed leaders, this team would be running away with the division title right now.

Perhaps one fine day, the people that say he doesn't run good routes, can't learn the plays blah blah blah will shut the hell up. That video was a pretty solid indictment that he runs very good routes and remains connected with Romo at all times.

That last minute was tough to watch. It was a struggle between his innate passion and the mediocrity that surrounded him. I hated to see him dart early but definitely understand that he wanted to let the emotions go in the locker room. He will grow from that experience. I also absolutely love a player that possesses some of that old school fire instead of this country club love that opposing players always give each other at the end of a "battle" nowadays.

I noticed that too. What's up with Austin getting up and leaving as Dez is talking to him?

I can't help but wonder if Dez walking off the field at the end of the game was his way of sending a message to the rest of the team also. Dez is an emotional man but I also believe he is aware enough to know doing this would create attention to himself for doing this. While I believe he may have been crying I am not sure if walking off was more about him sending a message to the rest of the team that he is disgusted by this.

Dez has an certain boyish innocents to him that I hope he can keep.
I imagine a philosophical thinker like Romo has sort of accepted the reality that our teams defense is such a mess that this season can only end in a bad way regardless of making the playoffs or not. I'm sure many guys on the offensive side of the ball have realized this weeks ago when game after game they need to score every time they get the ball to win.

Hey should have already been gone. Sean Payton would have had Miles on the streets weeks ago.
