some are cool. Calvin Johnson's megatron nickname is cool. And Shawn Marion's Matrix nickname was cool as well.

Generally when you try to force a nickname, it does sound cheesy

However, one of the earlier posts made me think of a friend's nickname in high school... Super Hang-On (after the video game) because he caught everything.
