Dez needs to sit for two reasons:
1) So that he doesn't get a major injury and the Cowboys are on the hook for his 2018salary if he can't play. He may be cut if not willing to accept a pay cut.
2) Cowboys need to look at other WRs in case Dez will be cut.

Guys listen. I get it, the name on the front of the jersey matters more than the back. I'm with you. But the disrespect I've seen for guys like Romo, Dez, Witten, Lee over the years is flat out disgusting. None of them deserve it. Guys have down years, guys get hurt. It sucks im mad too. He should have been cut right after the game imo.

Surely Dez knows he crossed the line last week. Dak and others have had it with him. Players who produce can act like that. Players who stink keep quiet. And Dez knows that other teams are watching closely. I think there is a good chance Dez will be asked to take a significant pay cut with incentives to earn it back. I think there is a good chance he will refuse and get cut.

Its not the "down season" part I would have cut him over. Or even his performance on the field of play in the game itself.

But you're right. Dez is a symptom of the disease.

McClay has nothing to do with who stays and goes on the roster. And since you mentioned Jerry Jones, well that ends the discussion.

This is outright BS....
Get a freaking QB that can throw the ball accurately and doesn’t hold on to the ball for too long. That has some pocket awareness. That can throw the ball further than 15 yards.
That doesn’t option out of a plays inside the 5 years about 6 times when you have the best RB in the NFL back there.
This tells me he can’t read defenses if he thought he saw something different.

Get an OC to make the right calls, get a HC that knows what he is doing.

But to blame Dez...is stupid....what about Daks airmailed pick 6.....
