Yep, I knew that's where you were headed. News Flash... Dez has already seen his best days. His last payday was a huge mistake, he'll never earn it. May as well recoup whatever we can now rather than let it all go to waste.
Wide receivers historically peak at 27. Do you know how old Dez is?
Also, even if you did want to trade Dez...please walk me around how you go around getting around a 38M cap charge for this year.
I can't believe some of you want to trade Dez. You really want to go with Williams and Beasley as your starting WRs? Zeke better be the next Barry Sanders.
Yeah, big contract trades are so common in the NFL. I'd love to hear who you had in mind to trade him for and why that team would want to trade that player and why we'd want to have that player if that team doesn't want him.
You seem to think giving Dez 38M means we get 38M worth of performanc in return. News Flash, you will never get that much performance from Dez and now the money is as good as dust in the wind, you'll never get it back. You don't get around the cap charge... it's the price you pay for being stupid enough to give him that contract in the first place... like I said, it should have never been done. Whatever point you are trying to make about Dez's age isn't relevant. It's not his age that's in question, it's his mental atitude and health.

The troll needs to go.
I'm making the point that it is not even plausible to trade him even if you wanted to. Because in a day and age where the cap is 155M...how do you propose trading Dez and using 1/4th of the entire cap for this upcoming season on him who will no longer be with you?
The answer is you can't.
So stop with your silly fantasy.
There should be concern who knows what damage he did playing on that injured foot you could tell he wasn't healthy. The Cowboys clearly rushed him back. He said on Twitter he shouldn't have been playing on that foot but that he did it for the fans. Hakeem Nicks had a similar injury and was never the same player. We'll just have to see if Dez can return to form or if his best days are behind him. Jerry is probably already kicking himself that he gave in and signed Dez to that huge contract.
The money is already gone. He's not doing anything for us in return for it either. Take the hit now or take it later but it's coming either way.
You act like Dez adds some kind of WR depth to the team from the sideline. News Flash, we already have a problem at WR even before trading Dez. It dosen't get worse by trading him because he's doing nothing for us anyway.
Stop saying News Flash like your reporting facts. You aren't. The facts are Dez Bryant has almost 60 Touchdowns in 6 seasons, is the heart and soul of the offense next to Romo, is the only receiver not named Witten on this team that is worth anything, and isn't tradeable. Those are FACTS. News flash, losing Dez would set this team back, a lot. No one is going to trade us someone that will put up his numbers, so your entire argument is irrelevant. I should have ignored you the last time we had this argument. Ill rectify that presently.
Surgery in Jan but not yet cleared for practice. I know it's still fairly early but raises a little red flag for me already given what happened last year. Hope they don't keep have to hold him out for camp then rush him into action when season begins.
Dez is someone who needs reps.

Find a team with a surplus of another position and a lack of WR depth. Then both teams will be filling a need by trading.
Couldn't agree more and I don't always do that with you. Scary.
