Yes indeed. Had a friend of mine, went on and on about how only 10 teams made the playoffs or some low number after an 0-4 preseason, he would not let it go until they got to 9 wins, then said possibly they will be an exception.

At some point you have to look sorta kinda sharp in the preseason..

Yes we eventually turned it on but we looked like the Dallas Cowboys of previous years against the 49ers.

We need to come out in 1 of these games, run it down some teams throat, and build confidence going into that Giants game.

The RB's and WR's are the guys always using the hamstring excuse but the linemen who crack heads day in and day out are the guys I feel bad for that don't get more time off.

I understand what you mean, but that SF had other issues than just a carry over from not having won any pre season games. Romo's back, Murrays's fumble.
But yes, they need to play better for the confidence.

Wade Phillips last year we looked completely sloppy in the pre-season.

The homers and even myself said ahh everything is fine and preseason doesn't matter.

Well it carried over into the regular season and we saw what happened.


Preseason outcomes don't matter but you better have a few drives that you can point to and say confidently that we're ready.
