He hauled *** and caught up to Murray from way behind in case he needed blocking. That's how you know a player has heart, is selfless and really wants his team to win. Gotta have respect for his physical efforts, putting all the mental stuff aside.

I dont question his talent or desire.

I do question his ability to learn more than a few things or to recognize different defenses, etc?

I absolutely do too. After reading the scouting reports on here talking about how he doesn't run very good routes and then him only running a few routes at that, I've definitely been disappointed with him so far. But just seeing his desire and enthusiasm makes it hard for me to not like the guy and pull for him.

absolutely have to love that...

Hate to say this but not everyone is a genius or even really smart for that matter. Some people take longer to learn no matter what their physical talent is. Dez may just be that guy. It doesnt make him a bad player tho.

It's funny you mention that because when I watched the play I instatly thought of a couple felix runs in 08 that TO did the same thing on, namely one when we played GB. And honestly I liked TO too, but he just couldn't keep his mouth shut when we were losing plus he was a media magnet to begin with.

TO attacked his QB and fellow playmates. His ego, paranoia and big mouth got him shown the door.

Absolutely agree.
I just hope its the "takes him a little longer to learn" and not something else.

I love the kid and if eventually gets it - great, thats what I want. What I see to be a possibility.

I think the owner calling him out for his attitude and second half effort had something to do with it.

I agree. If people want to claim Dez as immature fine but he is not a trouble maker that TO has shown time and again though out his career.

u sure youre not thinking about saints game?

I have always believed that Dez is a great teammate. I don't get the T.O. comparisons. In pre-season, he was always the first one to congratulate one of the WRs for making a catch that were trying to make the team.

this was in 08, don't think we played the saints in 08 and to was gone in 09 when we played them.
