All we heard in the preseason was how Dez was primed for a great year. He actually looked great in the preseason.

Now when the rubber is meeting the road he has zero tds. How successful is the average team going to be if their number one receiver has no touchdowns a quarter of the way through the season?

Our # 1 receiver has 3 tds. Our #2 receiver has zero

Yep..

Some people are still confused about resident fly routes place.

Great, our #1 WR has 3 TDs in 4 games, which projects to 12 TDs on the season for him and still none from the #2.

Again, blame Romo. Grab the pitchforks and fire clubs!

Dez must be the #1 receiver. How can he be #2 if he is "The Franchise".

Who was blaming Romo? Not me. Lighten up, Francis.

It must be Romo's fault. Probably a conspiracy created when Romo and Witten were drawing up secret plays in their room years ago.

Hard to get touchdowns when your quarterback is running for his life seemingly every play. We've only scored seven total touchdowns so far. That's pathetic.

The number of touchdowns for one particular player during the first four weeks of the season is irrelevant. It's a team sport, not an individual sport.

The last two times our No. 1 receiver had no touchdowns through four games, we won the division. It's a completely irrelevant factoid.

Him and Romo just haven't found any chemistry together. Not sure what it is. I don't think Romo trusts him and I don't blame him

but he "took responsibility" and said that "dropping the catches is unacceptable" so all is good

Needs to turn in that #88 jersey for another.

Guy doesn't deserve a number of that pedigree.

Dez has better stats through 3 years than Irvin.

Dez has gained Romo's trust. He got probably ~15 targets Monday.

Stop it. You do realize Irvin didn't break out till his fourth year. In his first three seasons he has 654 recieving yards and just 5 touchdowns, 378 recieving yards and just 2 touchdowns, and then 413 recieving yards and 5 touchdowns.

Irvin had an incredible, incredible career and it's a damn shame that I didn't get to witness his greatness, but he didn't start off well. Dez in his first three years blows Irvin out of the water. Now I'm not saying Dez is gonna be better than him, but this notion that Dez sucks and needs to change his number is ridiculous.

I'm not gonna lie I haven't exactly been very thrilled with him this season, but I sure as hell ain't giving up on him yet.

No, I won't stop it. I witnessed Irvin's greatness, along with the greatness of the 70's and the heartbreaking 80's as well as the 90's...

Let him prove me wrong before I stop it.

Blown out of the water? LOL. Look at the difference between rosters before you take that route.

I like how you left out the little fact as how Irvin's 2nd year was cut real short due to a knee injury.

And, Dez doesn't suck. Never did I state that he did. I just don't think he has the hunger or emotion to have that number. Definately ain't makin touch catches like I am used to seeing.

Like I said, Let him prove me wrong.
