Hamstring

Nick Eatman @nickeatman
Dez Bryant held out wjhj hamstring injury .. Jerry Jones said club will be cautious with him Monday night .. Probably won't play

Both starting receivers have hammys. I hope they get the injuries out of the way early and remain healthy throughout the season.

I think they are just looking for an excuse to not play him Monday so they are saying he has a tight hammy.

He's probably just cramping up from so much practice.

Good..he has blisters on his feet too..definitely shouldn't be playing

I was against the mindset of sitting Romo but now what's the point?

Holy crap! Can we have at least one wr without a hamstring injury?!?

Ogletree doesn't have one.

Hamstrings are tricky, just not something you mess with.

We've invested far too much in this season to go into the regular season so thin at center and WR.

I guarantee we will make a move for a vet at one if not both of those positions before it's all said and done.

It's okay to have holes, or go cheap at a position - it's another to have guys that are straight up liabilities that can end your franchise QBs season on one play.

They need to hire some real trainers.

You know there are ways to help prepare the hamstrings better to help prevent hamstring injuries. Like better and proper stretching of the hamstrings. I believe Emmitt Smith, Zach Thomas and several other athletes have hired trainers on their own to do just that due to continuously having hamstring issues.

You figure Jerry would just spring for a couple of them rather than continuously having players with hamstring issues.

I can't believe they don't wear a couple of pairs of socks when they are practicing as much as they are.

Noob mistake.

To give one of the younger receivers a chance to show he's capable of stepping in for a starter.

Bc that's not the purpose of preseason..dez will be fine

More Importantly, we need to find out what we have in regards to the 3rd WR..romo needs game reps w these kids

Dez and Miles WILL miss games this season. Romo needs to get used to these other receivers.

If this were Sept. 4 none of the guys that have hamstring strains would be sitting out.

They are being cautious, but IMO they are being overly cautious.

I don't care. I really don't. I don't watch pre-season games to see Romo, Bryant, Murray, Ware, Witten, Austin, or any of the other stars on this team. I watch to see the backups, rookies, no name surprises, and even the dregs.

I'm thinking James Jones, Stallworth, and Branch are some guys who could get cut.

I'm confident we will have solid options at receiver if we need to go that route.

Interior OL is a different story though. It you have a quality guy you keep them.
