Or that we even have backups that need to be seen. Apparently Green can't even beat out Charles Brown to be the third tackle and Bernadeau is average at best.

Still have hopes for Green. Hard to have his injury and then just step into a pro line. Redshirt year.

But yeah I keep hearing sit the offensive line and everytime I do I know there is one poster's opinion I can stop taking seriously.

I don't have any hopes for him. He's basically Matt Johnson to me given his history going back to college.

I think he can play but his injury history is pointing in the matt johnson direction.

Well that is certainly the pessimistic view.

Sorry, I have to take a pessimistic view when a player can't even get on the field enough to possibly improve.

It is not like Green was some sort of polished product to begin with. He has to become reliable first and then learn.

I'm just not in the habit of writing off rookies.

Call me an optimist.

What a shocker. I'm the biggest fan of Dez but I sure as hell hope he comes back 100% next year. No injuries and I want to see him at every off season workout and hopefully he makes it through all of training camp with no setbacks. No excuses. He's been playing hurt and Cassel didn't do him any favors when he was throwing to him. Good riddance to that nightmare. But Dez played like garbage and he knows it. We seen him not give the effort on some plays and that play with Norman on Thanksgiving was ridiculous. I just want to see the old Dez next year

Okay then you can call me a realist when I look at a player's collective body of work as a collegiate when considering their future prospects.

That's my hope for Bryant is that the lack of a real offseason and the QB turmoil made this season a fluke.

I just hope he is not holding back because he just got the Jerry Jones Golden Ticket.

The old "i'm a realist" routine.

I must admit...it sounds better than "i'm a relentless pessimist...because it's easier to approach everything with that point of view...and besides if Chaz turns out to be good people will forget I had no hope for him."

To each their own sir.

More often than not, there is something tangible in support for the pessimism beyond hope and crossed fingers. You call it taking the easy way out. Oh well.

The guy played 11 games his senior season. It was known he'd need to work on his functional strength coming into this year anyways. It was always unlikely he was going to unseat the newly resigned Doug Free this season...right or wrong.....that was known.

The kid isn't even off track at this point....but go ahead and take the easy way out. It is easy afterall.

It's pretty funny to see Dez get defended when he's done nothing but drag the team down this season.... all the while getting paid mega-money. Certain types of glasses prevent people from seeing objectively.

What about Romo? Romo sucked before getting hurt, and afterwards. Both played hurt and both were ineffective. But I'm certain you have excuses lined up.

Um, Romo has a no-criticism clause in his contract. And Sir Jones and the fans adhere to it.
At this point, Romo and his expensive wife are laughing at all of us, and with good reason.
